Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Lifeprint Printers at 2.0 against MiniPrint's 1.0. Lifeprint Printers also leads on ratings volume (611 vs 1). MiniPrint's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 13%) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Lifeprint Printers holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lifeprint Printers has 611 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Lifeprint Printers's written reviews are positive against 33% of MiniPrint's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Lifeprint Printers ships an update every 3 months, MiniPrint every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
