Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Prune at every 6 weeks against BLASK 2's every 30 months. Prune also leads on ratings volume (567 vs 6) and review sentiment (66% vs 50%). BLASK 2's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and price ($2.99 vs $4.99). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Prune costs $4.99 and BLASK 2 $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
BLASK 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prune has 567 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Prune's written reviews are positive against 50% of BLASK 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Prune ships an update every 6 weeks, BLASK 2 every 30 months. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
