Driver License Reader vs Regula Document Reader

This App will decode PDF417 barcodes as found on the back of US and Canadian driver's licenses. The App will let the user save the driver's license details to a file called ID_List.txt accessible via iTunes FileSharing. iTunes FileSharing is used so that sensitive personal data is held privately on the iOS device. The setting of the App can be changed so that when you save the driver's license details it also saves the image. The App will also read EU style driver's licenses but does not use language rules to improve OCR. The App offers the ability to save images of IDs to the private file space of the App and these are available to iTunes FileSharing, this avoids potential privacy issues of images being uploaded to the cloud in error. The App's ID images can be deleted via iTunes FileSharing.
