Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: CodaMusic at 4.6 against BadKitty's 4.1. CodaMusic also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 17). BadKitty's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
