The Prince George's County Traffic Response and Information Partnership (TRIP) Center has developed the PGC Trip mobile app to provide up-to-date transportation information to the general public and to better assist the traveling public in Prince George's County. FEATURES: • All-new Public Transit feature • Hands-free, eyes-free audio notifications of upcoming traffic events while you drive • A zoom-enabled map with tappable traffic impact icons • Streaming video from traffic cameras. Sign up for a My PGC Trip account to save cameras for easy access. • Near real-time updates on traffic impacts, roadwork, weather and road closures • Manage My PGC Trip personalized accounts including saved routes, areas, and camera views and email and text alerts • View current traffic speeds and traffic conditions • Access to additional traveler information resources NOTE: Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease device battery life. For safety, please do not use this app when you are driving. The primary responsibility of every driver is the safe operation of their vehicle. While traveling, mobile communication devices should be used only when the motor vehicle is at a complete stop, off the traveled portion of the roadway.
