PeakPeek tells you what mountain you are looking at. It renders the actual view from where you stand — every ridge, summit, and lake, drawn from 30-meter elevation data — and labels the peaks by name, height, and distance. The renderer marches real terrain, so a label only appears when that summit is genuinely visible from your position. Peaks hidden behind a closer ridge are marked as such, not guessed at. IDENTIFY WHAT YOU SEE Point the camera and match labels to the live view in AR, or browse the rendered panorama in 3D. Every named peak and lake worldwide is on board. Tap any label for elevation, distance, and prominence. Visibility is computed, not assumed: the app knows whether a summit clears the ridges in front of it. GO ANYWHERE Stand on any summit on Earth without leaving home. Pick a spot on the map, or search a peak and stand on it — the view renders from its actual top. Terrain streams automatically for wherever you look, from the Alps to Iceland to the Himalaya. Nothing to configure. READ THE LIGHT Scrub time to see the sun's path drawn against your real horizon — not a flat one. Sunrise and sunset times reflect the actual ridgelines around you. At night the sky shows the stars and the moon for your location and time. TAKE IT OFFLINE Download regions before a trip and the full experience works with no signal: terrain, labels, visibility, sun times. Keep lists of summits you have climbed or want to climb, and save viewpoints you want to return to. NO ACCOUNT No sign-up, no ads, no tracking. Your position is used to render your view — nothing more.
