Problem with sound
I subscribed in January for a year. It worked ok, not great, but I was trying to keep up with it until my subscription ended. I had no plans to renew. However, about a week ago, I started having problems with the sound. Some words still worked but others stopped working. I don’t think it’s my phone or my volume since some words work. So I deleted and reinstalled the app. When I did this, all my history disappeared. I am so frustrated. I want to request a partial refund for the time I have left but I don’t know how.

So I found this app through an advertisement where it shows it teaches you through music saying it in French and then English in the song is that really how this app works?

Pronunciation part only works sometimes
I did the 7 day trial but canceled because half the time the app “ couldn’t hear “ my repeated word . Checking and practicing pronunciation is half of communication so I passed. Otherwise it was pretty good

Needs articles
I would like this app more if it included articles as you learn each word. Sure, I can learn the words here but if I don’t learn the articles with each, what good is it!
This works
I like this one because it goes over just four words repetitively versus other apps dive in and give you a whole phrase and when you’re a beginner, it’s too much and you don’t really advance, but I like this one because you can go back and relearn the words.
Do not try. Does not warn you before charging and Apple will not refund money.
App is ok. I tried it out but was not interested in keeping it. Was charged $79.99 with no warning. Contacted App Store and was refused refund. This has been an expensive lesson.
No Response
Insufficient content to subscribe for more than six months. I subscribed for the full year by mistake and forgot to cancel two days before my trial. The developers do not respond.
Another subscription
All of these companies want to subscribe us to death. You can’t even get a preview of what the app might be like without signing up for a subscription “with a 7 day trial”. No thanks!
It says in app purchases but doesn’t say there is a charge until you’re just about ready to start.

Masculin ou Féminin?
For the love of all languages based in Latin, please include the article with nouns so we are learning whether it masculine or feminine without having to look it up separately

I do NOT like this. It’s just repeating words and it doesn’t hear you well and it just does not help you learn French.
Please make a dark mode
The app crashes or freezes randomly. It’s really annoying, especially when you’ve gotten really far and it doesn’t save your progress! Did the developers give up on this app? It seems like there hasn’t been any updates at all.

The app suggests there’s a free trial but there is no free trial. There are way better alternatives out there for learning French.

We apologize for the late response. The app does offer a free trial, though Apple allows only one trial per Apple ID — so if a trial was used previously, the subscription may start at full price. Vocab learner
Good if you want to learn the words you need to bulk up your vocab in French. Yet, offers nothing else. As, at best, a companion to Duo, it is not worth the charge. Which is, more money than its far superior rival.
Misleading and Not Worth the Subscription
I downloaded this app because it advertised a free trial and claimed it would notify me before renewal — but that never happened. Instead, it renewed a full annual subscription without my consent. The content also looks nothing like the ads: it’s very basic, repetitive, and definitely not worth the high price they charge.
There is no clear way to cancel or request a refund through the app, and customer support is unhelpful. Feels more like a subscription trap than a learning tool.
I strongly recommend avoiding this app until they fix their billing practices and improve the actual content.
