Fraudulently charged - Did not honour 7 day free trial
The app requires a sign-up to try but offers a 7 day free trial. However I was charged the full amount immediately on signing up. The app is not right for me, so I cancelled the subscription on the same day, but a refund request has been denied twice now.
Poor UI, scammy billing
No way of knowing what the content is. The gatekeep with stupid irrelevant quiz to even enter. There is is no way to access free trial without allowing billing. Very scammy and you never even get to see the content
Great app
This is a great app; I’ve learned so many new words. However, I’d prefer to have flash cards and the ability to reset progress—so I could start fresh again.

Not the way to learn a language
The app teaches you lists of words, which is possibly the worst way to try to learn any language. The only way to learn is to use the words in context, by forming and listening to complete sentences. Don’t waste your time with this.

Forced subscription
Downloaded through insta and somehow it autsubscribed me. Tried to cancel/refund but to no avail. Not sure what happened on my end but felt a bit scammy as I was never asked for a subscription. Take w grain of salt, doesn’t seem to be a common problem.
Spanish for beginners

Very effective
5 lessons in and so far it’s very helpful in retaining individual words! Exciting to see how long it takes to get to lessons on grammar. Super easy and effective.
Learn words
The app is ok, nothing you couldn’t get by googling words and listening to their pronunciation. I wouldn’t waste time paying for the subscription. There are probably better apps out there to better learn Spanish.

Terrible didn’t work and if you sine up for a 7 day trial they bill you for the year .

Great for learning words
The prices subscription is ending my trial but others have more money than me. This app is very well made and can be incredibly useful for learning speech, words and listening.
Free trial and charge it?

Scammed
It says there is a free trial period and that you can cancel at any time before it expires, but forces you to select a plan for when the trial ends and then charges you for it after immediately. Total scam
Underrated
Really useful and not appreciated enough - for me it’s more useful than other apps like Duolingo if you want to focus on vocabulary.

Most annoying advertisement ever
Jury is out
I’m still in the 7 day trial period. So far I like the UI and approach to learning. What I find confusing is that what drew me to the app were the ads talking about mastering the 3000 most common words and phrases used in Spanish before digging into grammar, and so far this app has me learning *very* uncommon vocabulary like “knitwear” “mole” and “blueberry.” If this is what the next 2 lessons look like then I will be cancelling.

This App is locked behind a Paywall, I don’t know how to use this app for Free without paying, But every time I want to use this thing, It just asks me to Pay their Subscription
Scam! Be careful, they will charge you £70
Downloaded this app and I didn’t like it. Found it clunky and other apps were easier to use. I’ve then discovered that the app has automatically signed me up for a payment of £69.99 for something I didn’t want or use after the trial. I cancelled the trial and still got charged. Apple claim their decision is final and will not refund me the money.
