Worst app
App reservation is NOT accurate at all.
We need a van to go to the airport and never showed up. Call the company and the “Dave” guy was really nasty and told us depends on an availability if we could get a van or not. Really? What’s the point of having a reservation???AMD1705
Poor user experience
Much like other reviews, the biggest issue is that the app stalls out in “searching” endlessly, without an update on drivers nearby or progress in matching you with a taxi. The app appears to share a user interface and architecture with other Canadian taxi companies, and frankly it’s a very poor experience. Most booking attempts with this app end with cancelling the request and either hailing a free taxi on the street, taking a ride share vehicle, or walking.Show lessAppMaven2014
Latest update broken
Guys, you have to fix this - the app works fine on the driver side, but on the customer side, it just says “searching” endlessly. I cancelled my latest trip after “searching” for 10 minutes about 10 seconds before the cab rolled up. He said “did you just cancel?” So clearly it’s talking to the system, but not updating on the client side! Has been happening for the last few months. Please fix ! Takes way too long. Today I had time to call another cab company and they picked me up before the Vancouver Taxi app could confirm a booking. So bad. Better to call.Sid IIIIO
Not close to Uber
Used it once, cab I ordered was picked up by someone else. I got in another cab. I could see their route as they left the city lol this would never happen with Uber!!!cliff blaster
Not getting better
I keep trying this app every couple of months and it’s just getting worst. Forgot my password link in the email doesn’t work on any browser, it has been over 3 months and not yet fixed. What world are we living in? I guess the no Uber one!nsbrjsgs
