WARNING! NOT FOR KIDS!

I decided to check out the app because my son and I were in need of a new toothbrush. After just two minutes of using it, we received a surprise. However, when we opened it, we were shocked to see inappropriate language, including the n-word and the F-word, which is completely unacceptable.

On day two, the weather was quite chilly, around 36 degrees Fahrenheit, and my son used the toothbrush again. But then, I suddenly stopped hearing the familiar buzz of the toothbrush and heard my son call, “DAD!” That caught my attention, and I rushed to the bathroom, only to find 18+ videos that were absolutely not suitable for children.

We had no choice but to return the toothbrush due to the issues with the app, and we deleted it immediately. To the app owner: be aware that there are also creepy jumpscares that occur after brushing, which adds to the negative experience. This app urgently needs maintenance to address these serious flaws and improve the overall user experience. Why can’t the app sync the profile

I tried moving the kid’s profile from phone to iPad. After signed in, the existing profile did not appear on the iPad. Frustrating. My kid doesn’t want to restart all over again.

Could be perfect, but one big flaw!

I would love to give this app a 5 star review, however, its inability to sync across multiple devices is a major flaw. We have the app on each of our phones (we parents) and 1 tablet because our daughter LOVES brushing with this app! She is always excited and makes it a big reveal to see what new present het Sparkly got today! However- it’s impossible as busy parents to have her brush with the same phone/tablet every time. When she brushes with one and not the other two, she doesn’t get credits and it ruins her ‘brushing streak’ and impacts the presents her Sparkly gets. Then she gets upset. So now, every night she brushes with one she didn’t brush with the night before, we have to go in the parent dashboard and manually give her credit. It’s incredibly frustrating. And I can’t even imagine if I was a parent trying to share custody across two households, or had more than one child I was needing to brush teeth at same time, what a nightmare. This could be sooooo incredible. But the lack of syncing is ridiculous and believe me if my daughter didn’t love it so much (and it does do what it claims for her- her teeth brushing has improved a TON), we’d have given up on it. Come on Sonicare, you have to know this is not really sustainably functional for most families without the ability to sync a profile across devices?!

If it doesn’t crash it freezes!

Great idea for an app and my child loves it (when it works). When it “works” at its best, it crashes at the end of the coaching, the points from the session aren’t achieved. Other times the video coaching is just frozen and no amount of app restarts or turning the phone off and on solves it, only solution is to uninstall and reinstall app.

I have the build a pet toothbrush and can’t connect to my device so can you make it so that it can connect to any SonicareKids toothbrush? Also great way to get kids to brush longer the proper way.great motivator because kids wants to see what presents they get for their sparkly.

Love this app! My boyfriend would not approve buying my 3 year old a $30 toothbrush (which she will just drop all over the floor), so absolutely love I can use the app without the toothbrush! My daughter went from throwing huge tantrums about brushing her teeth, to tonight ASKING me if she could brush her teeth with the app in a matter of days! I’ve tried so many other things suggested, this is the only thing that has made her brushing consistent. I’m afraid she’ll get bored of it eventually, (since most things that work a few times, stop working after a few days)… but I have hope for this! And anything that works even if only for a week, is good for me- beats the meltdowns! Thank you!
