Absolute waste of time
Such a difficult process. The app requires too many details and then loads of ‘click the pictures’ to prove you are not a robot, then wouldn’t load the amount. The when using it at the shop it took ages for the checkout to work too. A right pain just for a voucher. I will not be gifting this to anyone.

Misleading charges
Unfortunately the app is misleading. It will generate a digital gift card but then force you to convert it to a physical gift card which requires a processing fee. Why does the end user have to pay this fee? What is the point of your digital business/app if I have to convert the digital gift card to a physical one? Very frustrating.

Scam
Don’t believe the 45+ Brands lie on their gift cards. I bought their card to use on ShahidVIP and when I wanted to redeem it I couldn’t so I called them and they said shahid isn’t available! Why put Shahid on the physical card?! Scammers.

Very Faulty App
Uploaded 2 gift cards to the wallet and they are both not showing up in the apps wallet, apart from this, the app keeps telling me “something is wrong”, and there are no contact details from the help centre link. You can only upload gift cards from the app that is faulty so no joy there, I a nutshell I have gift cards that I can’t currently spend because the yougotagift application seems to be buggy and poorly written. Avoid downloading until these issues are fixed

Too many steps and fees
Far too many steps to redeem gift cards from my credit card points and charged 5 AED for each card. I used to be able to get these in the post for a lot less hassle and without the fee but now forced to use this app as the only available option. Wallet doesn’t function properly. Yougottagift gets two thumbs down 👎👎

Tax in application
The tax in the application is very high, much more than the tax applied in stores

Only two gift cards to chose from when I went on the app in attempt to order a gift card.
Easy to buy, not so easy to redeem
Some overseas friends of ours have been buying this for a few years now, in my opinion the app has a lot of info / options on how to buy them, for the person receiving them, not so much.
Feedback Whada mall
Only allowed to spend 100dhs because Whada mall didn’t have 50dhs vouchers!

Can only assume the good ratings are from paid sources - horrible to navigate, lousy to redeem, no available balance updates, missing credits that just won’t load - a total scam
