Crashes a lot
Really frustrating how many times I have to close this app and restart it. It really just doesn’t work if you move or open any other apps, which other people have said as well.
Terrible app
I hate to say this because I am a sustainer and love WUNC. But this app is the worst! It buffers - even when I’m stationary at home - and skips back in time like a broken record *constantly*. I’ve never experienced either of these with any other app including other radio stations. Please fix these problems!

Works intermittently.
The connection is constantly buffering. Very annoying, even on a 5G Home Wi-Fi connection.

This is the only thing I listen to to get news. I pop my headphones in in the morning before I get out bed to listen to the news( Hubble sleep an hour longer than I do)
But now it cuts out/ buffers ever few minute. It’s usually right before the key sentence or clip in a story. I hate it.
Please fix the problem. It wasn’t until about a month ago.

What’s happened???
This App use to work well in WiFi and okay with cell service. Now it buffers for up to 5 mins (when I turn it off) in WiFi and can’t get out a sentence without buffering using cell. This started this summer and makes it useless. I’m a sustainer/leadership circle for this station and it’s driving me to Podcast alternatives. I’ve deleted it once and anticipate doing it again.

Annoyingly unreliable
I ONLY listen to NPR/WUNC while I’m driving, and I have to say that I can’t rely on the app for streaming content. I find myself repeatedly unplugging and replugging in my Bluetooth device. It shouldn’t be this complicated!! Please fix this annoying problem!

It works, sort of
If you are stationary on WiFi, the app works. It won’t reorient when you turn your phone or iPad, which while incredibly lame, is tolerable.
But try using this app in a moving vehicle and you will see how poor it is. Every time your phone moves from a cellular to WiFi connection, the stream stops, replays it’s little intro speech, and then starts up again. Don’t think your phone jumps from cellular to WiFi often? Try using this app and you will soon realize it switches often.

Great app from a great station
This app is great and it’s from an exceptional station that is worthy of my support.
Like the update
I really like the streamlined look of the latest update. Would really love it if the app was Car Play compatible, though.
