Audio Not Downloading
App opens and buffers but does not connect to audio stream on either WiFi or Cellular. Also, streaming connection for WUNC fails on Sonos Tune-In Stream and Echo skills stream.
Kills battery
In the morning I listen to the live stream via Bluetooth speaker. If I stop the stream but don't force quit the application it continues to drain the battery due to background activity even though I have the app set to not allow background app refresh.
Much to be desired...
Absolutely love WUNC and listen to it almost all day everyday. I love it so much so that I gladly support them as a monthly sustainer. However, their app it lacking, especially in terms of live streaming. It cuts in and out every few minutes and makes it nearly impossible to fully listen. I would love it if this could be fixed.

Always crashes
When I open the app, it says loading and then crashes.
Stream randomly pauses itself.
Sometimes the pause button doesn't work.
Seriously... this app is supposed to do ONE thing: play a stream. It seems unable to do that reliably. The web player is much more reliable.

Recent update crashes
As of 4/8/17 FINALLY app has been updated and is back working again. Thank you! Great.
If you're having trouble with this upgrade, I suggest, if you haven't already, delete the old app before downloading and installing the new one. Be sure to choose the "delete files" option. I also went into my iTunes library and deleted the app there before installing the new upgraded app.

Crashing (updated 4/6/17)
I've only used this on my 7+, always most current iOS, and have only experienced failed app loads/crashing.
edit: App is functioning, finally able to open it and begin a stream, will report on use after some time with it.

Buggy operation
Sometimes it loads and sometimes it does not. If it loses the connection for whatever reason you may have to restart the app completely turn it off turn your phone completely off and back on. Just an irritating app.
Unbelievably bad
Downloaded the app for the first time, sits 'loading' for several seconds, then crashes. Have seen no other behavior.

It's working for me.
On my 6+, with the latest OS, it turns on and turns off fine. If that stops I'll come back and regrade.

Still having problems?!?
I enjoy public radio and am a sustainer. I listen every morning and often during day and in the evening. Today, I could not get the app to cut off. To do so I had to delete the app. Previously, I have had the app start playing without any reason. On one occasion, it was embarrassing! I've had problems for years and even talked to the developer in Raleigh one time. I don't know if the developer is engaged now or not. After several years and I think lots of other complaints, why does this continue to be a problem? Is this a donated service? Listeners are certainly appreciative if the app developer is donating the service, but is it not possible to get this problem fixed?
The app works relatively well otherwise, but it should not be necessary to delete an app to turn it off!
