  • *update not good sign) Great free app with one time upgrade

I am so sick and tired of apps with never ending subscriptions, I have no problem paying for an quality app to own it. This apps free version is great already not completely stunted or loaded with ads it just works. And the paid upgrades are available separately or as a bundle more developers need to start doing this again. The upgrades ad more detail and longer records and more. I am buying the bundle to support this developer for doing this the not greedy way of subscriptions.

    ****update****
A whole 3 minutes later trying to support the developer I went to look at their other apps and the only other app, yeah it requires a subscription almost everything locked behind subscription. That’s their right but I have seen many times a paid app gets abandoned for a new subscription version. This leaves the paid version without updates or worse dead and the subscription app seems very similar to this one. Would love a response on what the plan is for this app before I buy.

  • Could be more accurate

I paid for the premium version to explore all of the features of the app. While the information could be very helpful, I find that the accuracy is limited. The information displayed on my iPad and my iPhone are different. I went through the steps of ensuring that the settings on both devices match. I did a refresh of the data on both devices and made sure that the metrics setting is the same for both devices. Yet in each category the measurements differs between the two devices by 1 up to 20 points. Perhaps I am doing something wrong.

On the more positive side the graphics are really good and easy to read. The heart report is great in that it displays information in a summary format that highlights key data to share with your health provider. One serious negative is that you can only print previous months, not the current month. I hope that the developer fix this.

  • Awesome App

For a while, I’ve been looking for an app that helps me understand how exercise and daily activity affects my cardiovascular health day to day. I used to use the Apple Activity and Health apps to track this, but after multiple HIIT workouts, I realized that those apps don’t really give me insight into how my heart is adapting. This app has so many great features and deep analytics that I wouldn’t be able to list them all if I could. I’m able to track every type of statistic you can think of and see a day on day, week on week, year on year change in each. I fully recommend this.

  • Very happy with this great app

I have tried a few apps that work in conjunction with the Apple Watch and found most had very confusing user interface , though they were good at collecting data. This app is certainly heads and shoulders above the rest in its presentation, explanation and UI. This is true for both the phone and the watch versions. Love the reports too. This has now replaced my other heart apps - highly recommended this app. Update: with nearly a year of usage , this app is getting to be very useful. The developers have been improving this app and it is getting better and better. It has a wealth of information presented in an easy to understand format - exceedingly useful. 5 stars for sure

    Developer Response

Hi there, I'm pleased to hear you like the app, it really makes a difference having encouragement like this! Many thanks, Simon
  • Much, much better than expected

I just needed an app that would show me my heart rate over the course of a day. This app does that and much more. For example, it averages daily heart rate over the course of a year. I got lazy over the enforced COVID stay at home period and quit exercising. A few months ago, I resumed exercising. The retrospective annual graph shows an increased heart rate during the period I slacked off and fortunately, a corresponding decline beginning when I resumed exercising. The feedback has motivated me to keep exercising. That alone is worth the purchase. The developer has an excellent User Interface sense. Want better detail on a part of a graph? Just pinch and zoom and you have it. You might think “Pfff! Pinch and zoom is not new!” You would be right but their are too many apps that don’t implement it when they should. This one does. The care that it took to implement that small detail permeates the app. Lots more but i hate writing on my phone. Just buy it.

  • I absolutely love this app

This app has helped me so much with keeping track of my heart and health data. As someone who enjoys keep track of these things, it's incredibly useful. I recommended it to a friend who has it prescribed to keep track of their heart data, and her, her cardiologist, and my doctors have loved it just as much after bringing it to their attention. To the point that her cardiologist and my doctors now recommend it to patients who need/want to keep track of their heart data.

The inclusion of both a good mobile and watch app makes it so much better. It would've been great if the watch app wasn't nearly as well designed as it is, but it's nearly as impressive as the mobile app.

Thank you so much for creating such a well designed and fleshed out app! I was more than happy to pay for premium, and I will continue to be a happy user for a long time!

  • Lots of typos, amazing widgets

This is the only trustable app with a widget for BloodOxygen for the apple watch. the only thing i don’t like, is how the widget doesn’t update on its own very much. you have to tap it and let it load for a few seconds so it kind of defeats the purpose but it also reminds me what my last reading was at that time.

if you’re able to fix this issue, and the typos (including the message asking to review. it says “it helps is” instead of us) then i would love to recommend this!

lots of good heart features too, widgets as well. the heart app by apple is lacking behind quite a bit, but they also just released lock screen and home screen widgets.

  • Nice way to see your health an activity data

I really like this app. I have been using it for over two years now, the free version, and it displays nice graphs and information in both the cell and the Apple Watch (has its own face complication).

It is true that Apple Watch has gotten better in their own apps, so does the iOS health information, but it is nowhere close to the smooth and centralized way this app shows your data.

I have not explored the paid additions, I am good with the free metrics and timeframes as I do not need to go back years as somebody that has a plan might need to; nor have a need to get more detail trend analysis.

  • Thankful

I am so thankful for this app it has empowered me to take better care of myself. The app is very informative and detailed it keeps track of irregular heart beats my heart rate especially if it drops or is too high. When I don’t feel well I am able to go back to a certain day to see how my heart was doing. This app not only has the numbers to see how my heart rate fluctuated but a chart showing it and at what time it happened. I also love the simplicity I can just open the app when I go to the doctor so he can view my records. Thank you so much awesome app!

  • Great app with excellent deep analytics

I was recently diagnosed with AFib, which I never would have known if not for my Apple Watch detecting it. I then mentioned it to my doctor assuming it was a mistake. Sure enough, after a number of tests, my doctor confirmed I have afib and referred me to a cardiologist. But I did show the app to my doctor, she advised what things in particular to keep an eye on as well as recommended physical things that if I feel I need to go to the hospital. This is a great app. I rarely will purchase apps from the Apple Store, but all things considered, this was something worth buying the premium package. 7$ is such a small price to pay to get detailed, in depth reports when I have a serious health issue. And it is a lifetime subscription which is a big plus. The new addition to monitor BP is a great addition because I have hypertension as well. Great job and a huge thank you to the developers for this wonderful app!
