Love this app and use it on all adventures!!
I love this new app from the Outbound and I use it to find adventures for wherever I am traveling. I highly recommend it for all your travel and adventures. If you are not going to have any internet coverage where you are going, be sure to get info before you head out. The app does need a connection to provide you with all the adventure information.

Beautiful and resourceful outdoor app!
I actually don't leave a lot of reviews, so when I do, it's because the product is really that incredible. The Outbound app is seamless, has a gorgeous layout, is visually appealing, and to search for any outdoor adventure or activity is very user-friendly. Categories include places that are right around where you live. That particular section is great for finding new places for outdoor activities near you that you weren't aware of. If you want an app that is easy to use, full of first-hand expertise that will help you plan for your next outdoor trip or travel destination, and is very practical, The Outbound app is the one to have.

Looks nice, but useless
I love this app as it is aesthetically pleasing, but, it needs Canadian results because even though I live in Canada, I only get results from the USA.
Awesome app
Yesterday I was searching for places online nearby that had waterfalls. I was so disappointed to find that both apple and Google maps didn't help and I had search multiple websites with poor maps to find nearby places. Then today I saw this under suggested. Literally the best app I've found so far. As a photographer, this will help finding new places to visit a ton!

Really aesthetically pleasing. I love being able to read about which adventures I can add to my bucketlist.
Looking forward to the update where I can upload a picture and my information of my adventure onto my profile from mobile. I'd prefer to post/ save drafts while on the go because a laptop isn't always accessible.

Amazing
I have been using their website religiously. I travel all over for work and go to cities I have never been before. The Outbound has helped me feel at home and shown me amazing places. The app works great and makes it so much easier to find hikes and activities. Even if you only hike a few times a year, The Outbound will make sure each of those hikes is unforgettable.

A Very Positive Review
This app is incredible. For the past year, I've downloaded and un-downloaded many "outdoorsy" apps and this is by far the best. They're up and coming and will soon be the most wanted nature related app for any smart phone. They have relatable articles that any nature enthusiast would expect and desire. The "explorers" they chose to represent their company are the type that anyone would envy....travel the world and document their incomparable experiences. Not only are they knowledgeable, but they create articles that are readable for onlookers anywhere, a weakness for the wanderlust traveler or the free spirit wanderer. Outbound has excellent social media that deals with a beautiful instagram, captivating articles, but ultimately has the same passion for the outdoors as any nature lovers would have. I'm very glad to have found this site and i'm excited for their new app. Only better things to come.

If you like the website you'll love the app
Bringing all the key spot searching components into a user-friendly app that you can take anywhere with you is awesome, uploading and viewing just got a whole lot better!
Love the idea but executed poorly
The app itself is fine but outbound really limits their community by only featuring a select few adventures. Instead if there are certain things that a post is lacking they should get back to the author so they can fix their mistakes. This would result in a bigger community and more adventures for everybody!

I've been waiting for this app to be released for a long time... I discovered The Outbound's website a few years ago and use it to find all types of rad adventures. If you want to participate in unique outdoor activity, check out this app and you'll find some amazing recommendations!
