UX design needs some love
This app is a great MVP but for how great the bright horizons system is I am appalled at how bad the design is on this app. Clunky overall, hidden features, lack of clear communication with teachers, confusing navigation. All could be resolved so easily with just a few tweaks. Hoping they invest just a little more effort into the next version’s UI.

The app has come a long way
I love the photo updated and event updates I get from my son’s bright horizon day care. Really appreciate the hard work of all the teachers and staff on BH in giving peace of mind to the parents.
Great app to make you stop worry about your child
I have been using this app from almost 3 months and it is a really great way to keep a track on your kid while they are away from you. I love the the way they have made it interactive by letting parents fill up notes about the kids. I absolutely love the options of memories where we have pictures uploaded while kids are performing some activties or playing. I also like to reminders feature 😊 Overall this is a great app for keeping me worry free while I am working.

Love the App
Love this app. Such a great way to stay connected to our child while he’s away from us at daycare. The staff does such a fantastic job of sharing detailed updates and photos.

Terrible App and Management
Why do my reviews keep getting deleted??! This app, although improved in the past 6 months, is still unreliable and insufficient. Just today, November 7, I went to look at memories and couldn’t view anything in November. I have to exit the app completely then reload it daily to get it to show up to date information. I am still randomly getting logged out. It is still terrible! I’m just glad my kids are out of the infant stage so I am less reliant on this garbage now. Thank goodness the teachers are great!! The developers of this are equally as awful.

Workable but basic…
A very basic app that provides the need-to-know of your child’s activities/status but is often laggy (latency can be bad), pictures can take time before becoming visible, inability to send messages to teachers (limited to one-way messaging which is very inefficient) etc. With today’s advanced technology and app development best practices at anyone’s disposal it’s disappointing that the app creator hasn’t caught up to simple performance and UX best practices.

One glitch marking absent status
Overall a great app. Makes me sign in about once a week. It logs me out for some reason, not sure why. A glitch I always experience is not being about to type an explanation for my child’s absence for the “Other” drop down menu. No button to click Enter or Save or Submit. So my child is either “Sick” or “Vacation” options, that’s all.

Happy Parent
This app is great! Does everything I need it to on a daily basis. Easily allows me to communicate with my child’s center each morning and get updates throughout the day. Thank you for the peace of mind it provides and for the info on what she is learning at Bright Horizons.
Still slow
I agree with mommabear, this app has a lot of issues with being responsive as well as loading any updates. I have the latest iPhone and fast connections. I get notifications and when I click them, they don’t appear in the app. I frequently have to close it and reload it. I don’t know how this passes QA. Please fix this.
