How to connect ..!!
You need to connect with an older version phone ..: it won’t work on new phones
I just connect my with my iPhone 5 an it works find ..... so try the old phones ..!!
Also wish they can update the app..!!nenapati
WiFi Not Working
I have had my lights since 2015 and never had trouble. This year, 2019, the app keeps saying the the WiFi network is incorrect. HELP!!!Marc Alan
This app is no longer supported
According to the GE Holiday Lighting Support page “This iTwinkle product was discounted in 2015. The last software update was designed to work under iOS 9.0. No further updates will be made to the product and software”.DavidVu22
Can work?!
So I can confirm that this app will not work with new operating systems such as the IPhone X, 10, or 11. I was able to program and work it just fine on my IPhone 6s+ with the operating system being 12.1.4. I hope this helps y’all out, Merry Christmas!Sdagshhshshjdjdjdjdjd
GE shouldn’t put their name on a product they abandon so quickly
Used to work fine until this year. Obviously some kind of compatibility issue with iOS or something. Not sure what it would take to update the product, but clearly the GE branding doesn’t mean anything.Mickle229

Having the same wifi problem, lucky I decided to check reviews before a super reset. The lights do seem to be on the same pattern as left last year, so I’m grateful for that. It was good while it lasted.Bigbtwoyou

Need app update
I have enjoyed these lights for three years, but as others have mentioned, it hasn’t been updated and the app no longer allows you to effectively connect to the strand’s WiFi. I was able to work around this by using an old iPad that has not had any recent operating system updates. It works as usual on it. Hopefully they will update the app soon.Show lessNate0129555444777
Horrible Product!!!!!
Spent 3 hours trying to use correct WiFi and absolutely no luck. Wanted to change the color but it would not even reset or (master reset). I finally accepted to take them down off of my house and give up. All that work for nothing. I will never buy this product again. Don’t even try to contact they won’t answer and they will not give you a refund. I’m going to have to go with another product this year.Show lessSaILorCap1
