1 hour long delivery
Why do we pay for delivery fees, up charged prices on the food annnnddd tip to wait 1 hour for the food to arrive. If you going to make us pay 3 times as much make sure the service shows what it is we’re paying for. An hour is too long 45minutes maybe 30 minutes understandable but an hour? You are charged 3 times
Charge 1: the food item prices have a 10-15% up charge that they are not transparent about. For example if a Big Mac is originally R35 you’ll pay R45 on the app. Why aren’t they transparent about the up charge and explain why the prices are different from the restaurant prices? #greedy
Charge 2: R20 service charge would be palatable if we weren’t paying up charges?!
Charge 3: tip, by the time you’re supposed to give a good livable tip for the drivers this greedy corporate conglomerate has charged you an arm and a leg.
You end up paying R150 for a meal that would have originally cost R60.
This is a call for restaurants to have their own delivery services like McDonald and KFC. So that drivers can earn a livable wage instead of making greedy corporations fatter with greedShow lessCan’t choose notifications
In a time where we have 100s of apps on the phone, and each app wants to advertise itself, it has become important that developers give users the option to fine tune notifications. I want notifications about my order progress. I don’t want a notification that tells me about loyalty vouchers etc. I HAVE disabled the option for promotions and offers, but I still receive useless notifications.
I now have to turn off all notifications on the app.
