Dasher Theft, Poor Support
I’ve had an account for years and my food has only been stolen TWICE. The first time (2-3 yrs ago) the DoorDasher didn’t even drive towards my location! I was upset but refunded. The second time DoorDash said I was ineligible and didn’t give me my money back even though the Dasher stole my order again.
Last week I was at work AGAIN and noticed our order was taking long especially since the restaurant is 2 minutes away. It said it was delivered even though my settings were set on hand it to me. The business is all glass and I didn’t see any car pull up so I assumed Sylvia (dasher/thief) left it at the back door or at another business. After I checked both locations I called her, and she didn’t answer. I reported that I never received my order and DoorDash said that I INELIGIBLE for a refund. I asked them to contact the dasher and have her confirm what color I was wearing if she REALLY dropped it off, especially since there was NO drop off photo. I had my concerns escalated several times and I only received a 50% refund. I asked why because I didn’t get to receive 50% of my order? Support gave me no answer and still didn’t give me back my money. I’m not a serial reporter of “none of my were received” so i dont know how it was determined that I was ineligible. Other companies require a pin for drop off and I wish DoorDash did to!
Update: DoorDash now requires a drop off pin, and I still never received a full refund for my stolen goods.
