Beware they are the stingiest company when it comes to refunds
I had an order delivered which contained meat instead of the Tofu option. At first they declined my refund and then offered a pitiful $4 refund even though the whole $40 order was inedible. Really shockingly awful customer service where you will never be able to speak to a human and only be sent around an endless chain of robots that decline your request. Uber eats is much better in this regard, even Menulog have been fantastic when I have issues with orders before. I would use DoorDash only as a last resort until they learn the value of customer service

I only rated 5 stars so it’s seem. So I double dashed my order, I ordered from chipotle and speedway. The Dasher then had to take a photo of the receipts but tried to be sneaky and took pictures of the same receipt of the chipotle one and ran off with my speedway order. The dashers name was Jeffrey and in the Lima OH area. I contacted DoorDash when the order was dropped off and I said how only 1 of my 2 orders were there. The said since I had met a threshold of refunds I couldn’t get another. I have to get refunded for almost every one of my orders or some part of it anymore. There is always something missing, something getting stolen and so on and DoorDash has done nothing to solve it. I then went through support and talk to “Shubam.” Not only did they not help, I asked to be transferred to someone else and they refused, I asked 4 times. Then before I could respond they ended the chat. I’m quite done with DoorDash because my money and my order was stolen from me. I honestly recommend using Instacart guys. It may take a little longer but they have way more stores and I feel like that’s worth it. I’ve never had to deal with instacart support because there are way more protocols put into place for how the orders are laid out.

Lengthy wait beyond estimated time - ended in cancelled order & no service recovery
Ordered food, eta 10-15mins. 30mins later, map shows driver at merchant, but then disappears. Doordash reassigns 2nd driver that’s 15mins away from merchant. Same thing happens, disappears when they get there. Yet another driver is assigned. I get in touch with support who say: “Your dasher is on it’s way now”, even though it’s been nearly an hour wait. I cancel order for a refund as there’s no guarantee it won’t happen again. Ask for service recovery for the hour wait for nothing in return. Can’t do it, not their fault. I deleted app straight afterwards

I don’t understand how DoorDash take your money, but don’t give you a refund if you don’t receive your food. Or you don’t get a refund if you cancel your order way before the numbers are done counting down. They take your 20 something dollars and leave you nine dollars. Or the food comes back cold or you just simply didn’t receive it. But yet you don’t get a refund so it has to be a scam. I ordered so much food that that little refund doesn’t even matter. Customers are always right when you find anyone to deliver the food. The drivers are stealing the food and lying like they’re delivering the food but you’ll see that the driver are still driving but say oh I think someone else picked up your order. I wasted too much money on this app. I don’t have nothing else to donate to this app. They are not fair and don’t take into consideration that their drivers are not doing right. They say they are going to refund you and it will come back on your car, but it never does. I am so disappointed with DoorDash. I told my entire family to stop ordering from DoorDash because they are a big scam. Next, I will be at my job spreading the word to not order from them because we have all been getting scammed over and over again and we deserve more. This is observed. DoorDash you need to treat your customers right because we put money in your pocket. I am so embarrassed for you guys with the bad customer service. You all put out to good citizens.

Worst customer service ever
I ordered from DoorDash the experience turned into nightmare. I ordered around at 7:30 pm, and it was delayed over an hour. The delivery driver contacted me, said the shop was closed. But he was still driving toward my house. When he arrived he didn’t have my order because the shop was “closed” he came to tell me that without my order which was no make sense either. but since he came to my address the app marked it as delivered “Order completed.” Ridiculous
I reached out to DoorDash customer service thinking they’d handle this obvious error. Instead they denied my refund request twice saying it “looked like” the order was delivered. They offered me a measly $5 credit on a $35 order but why would I want to use this service again? I paid for something I never received and DoorDash refused to make it right.
The customer service here is non-existent and they clearly don’t care about their customers. I’m beyond disappointed and will never use DoorDash again. If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid this app at all costs

It started off amazing...
DoorDash was slowly becoming my favorite delivery service. Until for one they started charging a service fee, for two the prices online are so much different than if you actually go to the restaurants. I’m guessing doordash has its own set prices? Which is ridiculous. I love that I can have certain places delivered to me but it definitely puts a hole in your wallet. The drivers are always friendly though. Oh, and another thing the gps for doordash should definitely be fixed. The drivers can never find my house it stops them at the end of my court so they always walk through to find me.
2024 update: I’m considering no longer using DoorDash. My orders have been wrong or messed up wayyy too many times to even count. This past year, I’ve had drivers deliver my order to the wrong houses, or take my food. And DoorDash doesn’t always compensate you for it. I think they should start holding these restaurants accountable and maybe they won’t screw up orders as often. I also think maybe DoorDash should consider drivers needing a PIN number when they drop off orders. So it’s confirmed the order is being dropped off with the right customer. And customers should have a 2-3 minute time frame to check the bag and make sure everything is correct or the dasher should be able to re-deliver to prevent unsatisfied customers having to reach out for refunds or credits that we may possibly be denied for. Just a suggestion.

PLEASE READ THIS!!!!
i only rated this 5 stars so my review will be seen. So basically i ordered a cookie tote from mcdonalds on doordash right? I then got the cookie tote. my dasher also informed me that she was waiting more than 15 minutes for the cookie tote and then they gave it to her after so long. So the problem here is that i did NOT receive all 13 cookies and before u think no my dasher didn’t eat them or anything. But Mcdonald’s did not put all 13 of them in there and to make it worse there wasn’t even 10 cookies in the tote?!!??!?! So i then requested a refund and they denied it? so i did it again and once again it got denied??? So i contacted physical online support and they didn’t even try to help or look into it. i wrote to them about what happened and they literally said since it has already been reviewed i’m ending this chat now? Like what that’s so rude all because for one i didn’t receive my full order and now y’all wanna deny me a refund? i feel that it is unfair and i am starting to slowly dislike doordash it bad enough it already expensive but to not give someone there money back is crazy i feel i should have gotten my money back or at least half of what i paid you know? I’m really disappointed in doordash i even attached a image proving it and they still denied me a refund. just lame doordash. will not be returning to order from u guys after that.

Rude, incompetent & unreliable customer service,
Wow! Bad customer service is one thing I just won’t accept. Placed an order 4pm an hour before a store closed, driver was en route.. I checked it again 10mins before the store closed thinking it would be on the way. The driver hadn’t moved. I told them the store would close at 5pm and they wouldn’t make it in time.. no reply. Store closed. Contacted the help chat, got put through to chat with a “real person”. They told me they would call the store and see if the order was ready. They proceeded to tell me that they spoke to the store and that they closed at 9pm not 5pm so my order shouldn’t be long. I waited again. There was a change of driver for some reason so had to wait again. I asked if they had picked up the order, driver told me they were just about to walk inside. Then at about 6:25 I got a call from DoorDash. Apparently the driver said the store was closed. I asked if I could put in a complaint. The lady just said uh yeah will do. I asked if she needed any information on what my complaint was. She said no. That was it. So darn rude!! Never using this rubbish again. Order always took forever, and their gps is not accurate especially in highly populated areas. Why pay extra money for inconvenience and incompetency?

Mostly reliable and reasonable
Door dash is a fairly reliable food and grocery delivery app. Sometimes orders take a bit longer than projected and on occasion they take much longer, although that instance is seldom. My food typically arrives fresh, but on the rare occasion that I am missing an item, or something about the food is poor in quality, DD has given me a refund for the item in question. Over all, it’s pretty good and any issues are usually handled in a timely manner. I do wish there were ways to hold drivers more accountable for the items so that they wouldn’t drive off with my drink as often. Perhaps implementing a checklist or something could help for both pickup and delivery. I also wish that there were more ways to make or notate customizations on the order. Something as simple as an “order notes” section so I can tell the restaurant “no pickles” for example, because I don’t like wasting food, but I also don’t like pickles and if there’s not an option to mark “not pickles” then I could put that in the order notes or something. Dash Pass seems to be worth it if you order on here regularly, I don’t have it since I don’t order very often, so I do wish DD would do like additional one time use coupons or something. I think it’d make ordering more enticing in general and it would also help save money. Also, tip your dasher.

I’m giving 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️because 95% of the time my order is wrong I’m not blaming DoorDash because of the employees at the restaurant don’t do their job right and make sure the food is correct but when you sit here and spend money over and over and over again and you’re paying for the DoorDash membership, you would think DoorDash at least compensate you something when the order is wrong it’s not my fault just because I’ve had a lots of past experience that were not good. I don’t want free food and I don’t care about the credit. I want The correct food when I first order it and it’s a lot of times it’s Bojangles that’s usually the only place I have an issue with most of the time And I will literally have pictures and you won’t even get my refund or anything. Just be careful with your order and I have ordered from a lot of places on here through DoorDash so fair warning do not order from Bojangles in Selma nc, because they surely don’t knowThe difference from dark meat and white meat. At first when I was doing my review, I was gonna only get your dad to stores but it’s not your fault, but customer service could handle things a little bit better. There’s no communication at all even when you tried to call them even when you try to talk to the actual agent there is no good Communication or good supportIt is always rest in the Atlee. Don’t know what I’m doing just like the employees at the restaurant
