Still missing services in Canada

Could you please add Fubo Canada, Sportsnet+, PlutoTV and One Soccer.

Thanks

It’s ok. The reel good website is better.

The app is ok. Works the same as just watch. The main feature that puts reel good above just watch is the location feature (which lets you see where a show is streaming in different regions) which is only available on the reel good website.

Hey there! Happy to report that Reelgood does now support Canada and Canadian streaming availability. Please take us back?

When will we get the app in Canada?

Update: so excited to hear about the Canadian streaming apps being added to the service!!

I loved this app when living in the US, and used it all the time. Since moving to Canada, I’ve been really frustrated. There is no app, website, or service similar to ReelGood, and I’m missing it terribly! When will you make the app available for use in Canada???

Hey there! We totally get your frustration—Reelgood is a very handy app, and it must’ve been tough not having accurate streaming availability after moving to Canada. The good news is that Reelgood now supports Canadian streaming services (like Crave, CBC Gem, and more).

Do you watch streaming entertainment? Get this NOW.

FABULOUS. Just the thing! Yeah, I might tweak this or that, but the basic functionality is HEAVEN.

UPDATE July 2024

Still rely on this app ALL the time. BUT, there is one thing I would love to see changed, exactly because I rely on it and use it all the time. It's this: how about don't have the app completely shut down every time I switch to another app for a moment?

This is what I hate: go through a list of recommended movies in Lifehacker or Facebook or screenrant, whatever. I don't want to write down a list, that sort of defeats the purpose of computers. I want to switch to Reelgood the minute I decide I'm interested in a movie. Find it on Reelgood and either immediately add it to whatever streaming service it's on, or add it to my Reelgood "to see" list. Then I want to go right back to the article I was reading and read about more movies.

This is a bummer because when I do it this way currently, Reelgood shuts down when I switch over back to reading my article and has to completely reopen as though I had just opened it fresh every time I return to this Reelgood screen. If I'm switching back-and-forth three or four or five or six or seven times, not unusual, this becomes very annoying. How about have it only shut down after maybe five or 10 minutes or some other trigger that isn't simply me switching screens?

Reelgood, yes. Could be Reelgreat with some updates

I really like Reelgood and I’d really like to love it someday. It has great potential.

The latest update was a proper kick in the head. I typically look for something new with updates, not to have things removed. So, what’s new with this update? Well, AMC+ was finally added and they added a big obnoxious + to the title tiles. It’s so big they removed the Reelgood rating from the tile. And that brings us to what was removed… the red indicator on the home page letting you know there’s new content, gone.
Still holding out hope to be able to filter out titles you’ve marked as seen or are currently tracking or by date added or sort by date added. Also hoping they will eventually make scrolling your watch list smoother. It’s been very clunky since day 1.

Reelgood just got Reelbad - Update: Reelbetter now?

And that brings us to what was removed… the red indicator on the home page letting you know there’s new content, gone. The date added under the tiles in the new release area, no where to be found. The streaming service in the upper right corner of the tiles, still there except in your watch list. You now have to select a title to see the streaming service. Those are the big ones and enough for me to start looking for another app. It’s a shame as there was so much promise for Reelgood and meaningful update opportunities were right there front & center. How great would it have been to be able to filter out titles you’ve marked as seen or are currently tracking or by date added or sort by date added. There are so many meaningful updates that could’ve been but yeah, that big plus sign took priority as the ellipse that was there previously and did the exact same thing had to go.

Update - over the past few days many of the features that went missing have returned. I do still miss the red indicator on the home screen that lets you know there are updates though

Such a useful app

Just find this app so useful and use it on a regular basis. You set up which providers you have and every time we want to watch a movie, we can so easily check which service it’s on without having to troll through each. Thanks Reelgood

Bring back tile layout for Watch Next

This is a very useful app for finding where a movie or TV show is streaming, and then keeping track of my progress in series watched on various different streaming services. But with the most recent update, my Watch Next for TV series has switched from a perfectly serviceable two-column tiled layout to one where each show gets a banner that takes up the entire width of the screen, so I have to scroll quite a bit to see everything. Why? Please bring back the old layout or at least make it an option.

ETA: An App Store preview image (second to last) still shows the old Watch Next layout.

Great Start, but missing some key features

First off I want to say that the app is awesome! The UI is very easy to use and user friendly, even for people like my parents that aren’t as tech friendly. The layout is awesome and there’s almost nothing I’d change it to so props to that!

Additionally, the ability to search through multiple libraries from different streaming services is super helpful and being able to start the playback from my phone is great. The remote feature is also cool, though I’ve found it mostly only works right with Roku products.

A few things I’d like to see be added:

-I’d love the chance to be able to rate things on a better system than love, like, and dislike. Either a 0-5 star system with half star options, or a 0-10 number system with the option to use decimal points (ex; 8.4/10)

-Along with a rating system, the ability to sort rated TV and movies by order of my own rating would be awesome! Then I can go back and see what my favorites were and it would be helpful to reference for myself and others.

-A very basic friend system would also be extremely beneficial for the life of the app too. Being able to see friend’s rating and reviews and even their watchlist would be nice. Then I could see what friends and family are watching and use it to find new things I might like.

Overall the app is awesome, but with a few minor changes it could be the best on the market!
