Pretty Good, but Room for Improvements

Overall, I really like Reelgood for tracking the various shows we watch on multiple streaming services. Once I finish a movie or series I give it a rating and stop tracking, but I’m still able to go to the “Activity” tab and find all the shows I’ve already watched as well as those in my queue. Very helpful in this day of streaming vs cable or satellite (although it would be helpful with these platforms, too).

Here is my “wishlist” of improvements:
1. Services should have the option of selecting the country when applicable, i.e., BritBox has a U.S. and U.K. Version. I watch a lot of British series on BritBox & Acorn, but in the app, it often says “Unavailable” for shows I’m watching.
2. Let users designate which service they are watching the program on, if not on all shows, at least for those that say “unavailable”, so that other users can find out where the program can be watched.
3. It would be nice if there were options for sorting, i.e., alphabetical, most recently watched, new episodes, etc. I have a large list of shows I’m tracking but the ones I’m watching are not at the top of the list.

I still really like this app, especially when I want to look up programs I’ve watched, but can’t recall the name. It would make it easier to find the name to share with others.

Can select Australia

I downloaded the app in Australia yet it’s asking me to select USA or uk to show content in my area!!

Killed Australian Users

Update today has killed off use in Australia - now asking if I am in the UK or USA.

Good while it lasted

Please add Paramount

Love this app, annoyingly it hasn’t been updated include paramount streaming services so I have to search my programme instead of it showing on my home screen.
I find this app really helpful to keep track of everything in watching and to help me choose what to watch next.

Not available for Canada…

Canada isn’t a choice, only USA and the UK or England or whatever, so I’m not sure why this is even in the Canadian App Store…

Response from developer

Hey, fellow Canadian here! Very happy to report that Reelgood is now available in Canada and supports all the major Canadian streaming services like Crave, CBC Gem, and many more.

Great app, could use a few additions

Great app for tracking films and being able to find them, I’ve found so many films this way. I think a few additions would improve quality of life. One could be importing your watchlist and seen films/ratings from Letterboxd so you don’t have to add them manually, especially if you have a big list. Another addition that would make the AI portion of this app so much better is if you could input your favorite genres, themes, and directors. The AI seems to have information based on what you’ve already watched, but the genres/themes it thinks you like are usually completely inaccurate, so it would be nice to input your own so you can get an accurate recommendation. Great app regardless and very helpful!!

Only works on iPad or iPhone

Do not install this on your Apple TV. If you do, the app just tells you to use your phone instead. It shows nothing else.

My favorite app

I have tried the IMDB app and it was okay but this app blows it out of the water!!! I use it to keep track of series’ as well as movies. The ratings and reviews are extremely helpful when choosing something to watch! I would be so unhappy if they got rid of this app!!! It has also made a few improvements since I first downloaded it over a year ago!

My only gripe is they need to add AMC+ to the services as well as ROKU tv. (Services is where you pick the apps/channels you have so that it only shows you movies or shows for the apps you subscribe to or watch)

Decent movie worth watching

As someone who has spent a lot of time at Standing Rock working with the Tribe there it has a somewhat authentic feel and the hotel scenes might have actually been filmed at the Prarie Knights Casino, I couldn’t really tell.

Nevertheless, it was authentic in presenting the legal case underlying the basis for the despite from a legitimate legal and tribal perspective which is actually rare. It also makes the complexity of the legal arguments understandable. Fun movie I thought.

I’d really like to know where it was filmed there was indeed stock footage from Standing Rock but the rest including the casino scenes could have been filmed lots of places. Also, I didn’t see anything that looked like Bismarck, ND during the off reservation scenes. Anyway it’s a fun movie and I think they did a good job.

Reelgood

This app is promising, until you find that over 50% of the top rated films are Indian. And the only way to tell if the audio is in English, or not, is to start playing it.
I’ll come back when I can filter by language.
