Update
I have an update for this app for 2 weeks and I still can't download it . I tried many times and it always fail. Please, take a look at it. That is the only reason that I didn't give 5 stars. I was planning to buy Bridge keyboard , I give Qode a try
Sort of useful ?
It lets you know how much battery power you have. In my case my keyboard dies at about 30%. But why can't it post to the top rite corner like my head set dose? It also says I have a firmware update. But it fails to install that. So not so useful in that regard. All in all it is a kind of useless app. But I dose tell you how much battery you have left.

UPDATE (12/24): So, there was finally an update after months of bad reviews. And what did that long-anticipated "fix" offer? A new message to say that the firmware was not available for iOS 9.1+. That's it. Well, thanks for nothing. Great work, Belkin... If I could give negative stars at this point, I would.

Doesn't not work and buggy
The qode app only working function is the battery indicator. The quick-action key mapping does not work, nor the firmware update function. In fact this application led me to the Qode site to research why the firmware update fails. I followed their recommended action up to the point where the directions were faulty. At that point I had to try to re-pair the keyboard - which took me another hour. I would not recommend this app or the Qode keyboard. What a mess.

A few kinks but helpful
Not a bad app, but had problems updating the firmware. Instructions did not include this hint: firmware updates might fail unless you have a completely charged battery (at least 2 1/2 hours worth of charging). Would give another star if the support email worked, and it might be a 5-star app if the quick launch app shortcuts didn't require a click on the screen to confirm.

I like the keyboard but the software is terrible. Especially firmware updates which flat out don't work. There are a lot of complaints about this. I may return the keyboard because the software is so bad.
Premium hardware with crap software
I just got my belkin qode keyboard case, the keyboard is almost perfect. But this app cannot update firmware and also failed to assign shortcuts/languages, seriously? This one star is just for the software. until a worked version release.

It DOES work -- however, the customary application of human patience is required, I found.
1) it did update the firmware, after a few tries
2) the keyboard shortcuts did work, tho' you need to keep the QODE app running in the background, and you need to confirm with a tap on the screen, after selecting, as already noted in reviews.
3) yes, it shows the battery life, and I look forward to being notified about it, as I sometimes am using the backlighting, which seems to reduce the battery considerably . . .
4) it does toggle between keyboards, but you need to depress and hold the CTRL + Space Bar a few seconds to see it happen.
I like the keyboard -- and look forward to the app being less buggy, going forward, with whichever updates come along. The testing for this app seems to have missed the mark, as we see with so many negative reviews. BUT -- I'm okay with that.

Really frustrating
Is this app from Belkin? At least with the current ios version(9.1), it is a real crap. Updates happened after many failures, after that language change option does not work and the App says it does not support Null....Unbelievably bad quality app from Belkin
Belkin...fixed this app
Waste of space on my iPad Air2 running 9.1. Does not update the firmware, even though a notice is posted of an available firmware update. After app errors out. From there, the app it reverts to a splash panel and that's it.
