Mechanic Feedback

Feedback received from mechanics is that they are so busy at the job and traveling between jobs, that sitting down in front a computer to mark the order completed and provide details is the hardest thing to find time to do. If they could mark the job completed in the app and provide additional details if necessary it would greatly enhance the experience for everyone.

Good but needs work

It's good overall but has some bugs. It is fantastic that there is a system for leadership to report issues to the Facilities group. However, the emails sent to the AA (and subsequently sent to the mechanics) do not have the building name or issue description in the subject line or email header thus making it difficult to coordinate repairs effectively. The mechanics that make the repairs have no way to communicate to the AA that the order is complete through the fir app. The mechanic will have to send an email to the AA or phone the AA to communicate that the work order is complete or if there are additional problems. This particular process is not time effective and detracts from the mechanics overall productivity. Please set up a way for the mechanic to report back completion or further issues with the app to the AA. It would be nice if the mechanic could communicate through the app that would auto generate an email to the AA that the work order is complete. Thank you!

It keeps freezing up when you try to turn back the pages.

Too basic, too many problems

I hope this app gets some more attention toward development. A buggy webwrapped app is just a start, proof of concept, maybe. Not a final product. Add user stories around FM employees using it and you'll start to see where it falls short.

Cannot submit

I have yet to be able to successfully submit a problem at our building. Granted, I am trying to upload pictures every time which may be the problem (service unavailable, zero size object error).

Completely unusable right now.

Handy, but has some major bugs.

The app is basically a web app of the mobile site. It works exactly like the mobile site. The two main issues that I've found so far are that the server crashes when trying to upload photos (Service Unavailable: Zero Size Object) and the landscape orientation doesn't work and just has a large white area on the left. It also would be much more useful with both the app and the site if there was a photo upload progress bar.

Love it!

I've used the app twice in the past month. I like how you can upload a picture of the issue. Using this app is SO much faster than reporting building issues the traditional way and I have gotten a very fast response from the building maintenance group, too.

Does not save!!!

If you are trying to submit an issue and the server is unavailable, everything you typed up is lost. Is does not go to the server and it does not store on the phone. Plus, it causes the app to freeze up and you have to do a hard close. This should have been resolved before releasing.

Streamlining the way we do business.

Great idea. I look forward too many more great apps for the church to put out.
