  • Very hard to sign up

    This app has one of the most useless and ineffective way of getting people onboard ! If you are incapable of handling new applications then maybe you should understand why you are not the leading delivery company and whoever started this application should address new problems and find solutions for that problem ! Now I’m fed up with the signing up process and not gonna be a sherpa driver ! But I wish you good luck and hope you can make it easy for other people who wants to make a living as a delivery person !

  • Big problem with the technical team

    Being a top summit player and not receiving a resolution for an exclusive job offer from the staff can be disheartening. It's important to communicate your concerns and inquire about the status of your application to ensure that your talents and skills are recognized and given the attention they deserve.
    I am facing the issue since last 4months so i had tried to communicate with technical team many many times regarding that but no resolution provided .
    Never refer it.

  • Worst staff

    There was a time when they call and beg to deliver there jobs but now when more driver signed up they started treating driver like slaves and i see many driver account closed due to false warning issued by staff when they got in any argument and there is also a talk that one driver in sydney shown them there level he taken waiting fee from sherpa and earned 600$ per day from sherpa hehe even hos account banned but he shows them that if they dont treat driver well they can find ways to treat them back

  • Avoid driving for Sherpa at all cost

    It’s sad to see an Australian company been ruined by hiring overseas call centres. Constantly calling and SMS you while you’re driving to hassle you about ETA even if you have over an hour. If you can’t answer they will remove your jobs. They do not understand how a driver works and it is illegal to be forcing us to answer phone calls or replying SMS while we are on the road. I’ve sent the screenshot of their SMS to the Department of Transport and OFC and I urge every drivers to do the same. Such company shouldn’t be operating in Australia.

  • False warnings

    I was working with sherpa from 8 months and i got three warnings and get my account banned and i was just having 1 warning in which i was wrong but 2 and 3 warning i got was not by mistake . They put delivery misconduct by false information by the customer and deactivated my account without listening me i email them the matter but they didn’t listen a single thing . They should listen their drivers

  • Scared to deliver with Sherpa

    I have been with Sherpa for 7 months - and have increasingly over this time moved away - they are not Australian company and do not understand Australian culture , driving conditions or product . Their call centre is based overseas. You constantly feel under threat by the Sherpa app to perform in a certain way and if u don’t the consequences are dire. It’s a very punitive system where punishment is handed out like you in a gulag . You are constantly faced with percentages and data on late or early arrivals, cancelled orders even your customer service ability gets a star or no star. Also their tier system (climb the mountain) is a total waste of time ! No matter what level u on the mountain I will always get jobs up to 15km away . Don’t do Sherpa unless u enjoy having a sword hanging above your head

  • Unprofessional staff, fake arrogance.

    I have been working with Sherpa for more than 2 years. The organization pays good value for work. The staff is excellent at times. But there are few instances when they treat the contractor delivery partners as slaves. One name that comes to mind is Cel. She has been offensive at times, with derogatory tone. These few people are issuing false warnings and also are taking benefit of being in a position to do so. I had an argument while delivering, as soon as I completed it, the person handling the delivery gutted out their frustration by issuing a false warning that my delivery proof wasn’t appropriate. These instances are heart breaking. They have no appreciation for hard working people, abhorrently they harrass people, clearly they lack practical knowledge of being on field and they can’t understand real time problems of the drivers. They dont support but make it hard to deliver sonetimes.

  • Not safe to work Sherpa

    1. They will ring you several times if you accept there one job. (Not safe when you are on road)

    2. Unlike other delivery apps You have to refresh your app again and again to get job first. (Again not safe when you are driving)

    3. You cannot unassigned the job once it is paid and if you call them it will take more then 50 minutes on hold.

    4. For waiting time you have to create tickets (It is not automated like other apps) and I was never paid for those tickets.

    5. For same job from Woolworth you will get more from other delivery apps. (Low pay)

    6. For no reasons they send you warnings and ask you to do their course again and again. I got warning because I didn’t not receive their call. (Waste of time)

  • Improvement and tips

    There should be clearly option for tips, even though in Australia there is no culture of tipping but in this industry we don’t make enough to not have tips from customers. So there should be a optional tipping feature for people to receive tips for their great customer service.

    The app keeps sending notifications for jobs but when you go to app there is nothing, this need improvement.

    The items are not always ready at the store. We don’t get paid when going to the pickup location on top of that waiting for the order to get prepared is not fare.

  • Be warned !

    Low wages. Long day waiting.. Burning fuel... I am sharing my experience, I delivered a bouquet to customer's flat. Nobody was at home and customer was not picking call. Then I left the bouquet at the door and clicked the picture as I had authority to leave. Then after 2 days they called me and telling my fault unnecessarily. Also deducted the bouquet cost from my salary. That was the cost of my honesty? I was spenting my whole day on roads and burning fuel and still out of pocket. . Please dont look this app as career changing stuff.
