Expensive, but worth it

I just spent almost £5 on sending a single card including first class postage. For a little bit of printed paper it does seem a bit expensive. However, the whole process took me less than two minutes, there were loads of cards to choose from and it was incredibly easy. I’m very happy with this app, and it’s probably worth the price

So restrictive

So I thought it would be easy to select a card, personalise it, then add a gift

Wrong!

So it added a gift I accidentally clicked on whilst scrolling through them, so now I had an unwanted gift on the order instead of the one I wanted, first mistake, now I couldn’t delete it, so I had to go to the website to edit my basket…

Then I headed back into the app to select a bottle of wine to add to the order, second mistake, you can’t add 99% of the gifts ‘after’ you’ve chosen the card…

Then I tried to add the wine and then re-do all the card, then I added my sister’s address, which it found via the postcode, third mistake, apparently it wouldn’t let me send alcohol there, even though she’s in her 50’s

In the end I gave up, deleted the order and re-picked the card and just sent that
30 minutes of my life I will never get back

Perfect for sending cards from abroad

I love Thortful and so glad I found them. Being in the US it is so helpful having this to be able to easily send cards to the UK. Never had any issues with cards arriving and customer service is great if you do have issues.

Great cards- if only you could zoom in to see them

Preview of card with message or ability to zoom in not working.

Great product and excellent customer service

I’ve used Thortful so many times and they’ve been excellent every time. I once sent flowers and they weren’t up to the usual standard but I contacted them and they replaced the flowers and gave me a credit. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and I love that I can write a handwritten message from New Zealand.

Great cards, easy & convenient to use.

I find this app very easy to use and really like the wide selection of cards by different artists. It certainly beats looking for cards on the high street. You can include a handwritten message by uploading a photo if you like, which adds a nice personal touch. It’s also handy to use if you don’t have any stamps at home.

Quality is there but some important options missing

They’ve got some great designs and the quality of the cards produced is good, similar to Moonpig. They also despatch reasonably quickly.
The only downside in my view is that there doesn’t seem to be a way (that I have found anyway) to mute certain notifications, eg for the imminent Fathers Day. Sometimes a celebrated day holds sad or painful memories and being able to mute them - which essentially are just an advert - is very helpful for some people, myself included.

QUALITY CARDS - REQUIRES TRACKING

I am pleased to share my positive experience with the service and cards provided. The overall service is satisfactory, with prompt delivery and quality products. However, I would suggest adding an option to track the progress of the card during the shipping process. This would enhance the customer experience and provide peace of mind, knowing the exact whereabouts of the card. Nevertheless, I appreciate the seamless service and the delightful cards received.
