Local Flavor Deals Are Amazing
My husband and I have been buying Local Flavor deals for years! We have tried different restaurants and have enjoyed the fantastic savings. Using Local Flavor has saved us money while dining out. I round definitely recommend Local Flavor to family and friends.Sue L 2021
Flawless to date
I have read all the posted reviews and was disheartened to read a number of them regarding poor or non-existent customer service or support.
I’ve not had any issue with any of my certificates, with glitchy software making things redeemed before they had actually been used, nor have I fun into any closed businesses.
My experience with this service has been exceptional and I will continue to take advantage of their offers.

No refund on certificates if owners close for 6 months

LocalFlavor has decided all warranted extensions have been issued at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience, however, we are not refunding and/or crediting as a result of Covid-19. This includes but is not limited to: A merchant that is temporarily closed; a merchant that goes into a temporary closure status; or a merchant that is not allowing dine-in only deals and denying them on takeout. Requesting Attorney General Investigation!
I have used these certificates for years now and had few problems with them until now! They will not respond to questions or issues with certificates and they are selling certificates for businesses that have not opened for months! I’ve emailed..called..even called the business to no avail! The business stated that they do not receive any money from these and that LocalFlavor will not answer their calls either! I will request a consumer fraud investigation into their business practices and am reporting this to the Better Business bureau on Monday. No Customer Support Certificates Expired
I bought $100s of dollars worth of certificates whose businesses closed or were closed during the pandemic. Local Flavor would not extend the dates or offer me an exchange so I lost all these coupons. I wrote them several emails with only one reply, and called them dozens of time with no return call. They do not answer their phones. The email told me, “ We have all suffered during this Pandemic. We will not extend the dates or offer a refund or an exchange.” Customer Service. Well, this is a terrible business and I’m sticking with Groupon or Living Social. Local Flavor can go F* themselves, they lost my business forever! Awesome Deals
I use local flavor deals often. It’s awesome to be able to buy twice the amount of food for half the price. I’ve been introduced to various establishments by using local flavor which has been nice for exploring new options. Using the local flavor purchased certificates has been easy to do. I have had a few challenges when establishments close their doors before I’ve had the opportunity to use the certificates that I may have purchased, but in those instances I’ve been reimbursed by customer service with a credit. I would like it if they had a more accessible customer service department. It is set up so everything is done using email correspondence as opposed to being able to speak directly to somebody by telephone. Overall, I really like using local flavor!Show lessthomasn9

I love the deals, easy to use app and deals at the business. However, I have two deals that I bought from a business that closed down and I hate that Local Flavor does not provide easy return options like Groupon. How could anybody rate Local Flavor less than five stars? Even if I only found one deal in my life, it was a deal I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. Of course, I’d like to see more deals for restaurants I go to, but what I do find here makes me very happy.
My one complaint is the limited number of cities, so most of my friends in other places can’t enjoy the deals.Show lessyanogator
Easy to use to save money
Excellent way to buy coupons and shop/eat local on the cheap! If a business goes out of business before the coupon expires, they’ll give you your money back. When they have them midnight sale, get those coupons when you can, because your favs will be gone!Mtpharmd
Pretty much the only way I go out to eat
I love using local flavor. Pretty much the only way I go out to eat. If my wife and I are hungry and want to go to a restaurant will go to local flavor first and see what we have in our wallet or buy a new one on the spot. You can’t go wrong getting food for 50% off. My only issue with it is at least five or 10 times after buying the deal we would arrive at the restaurant and they would be closed down and not in business anymore,Or say they no longer except local flavors, at least twice this happened after we’ve eaten and I had to pay in full.Show lesslocal flavorful
