This release provides new features and improved UX. We've simplified the process of confirming pending records, and are providing a better summary of travel types for your travel records by jurisdiction. Summary Screen: You will be able to confirm your pending records with a single click on the summary screen. We have also renamed the “Tax Day “and “Non-Tax Day” designations to “Residency Related” and “Non-Residency Related” Days to better associate them to the State residency threshold days. In-app Support: You can now submit support requests directly from the TaxDay app. This eliminates the need to visit our website to request app support. Time Zone Adjustment: In this release, we have added a feature that will add travel records in the jurisdictions' respective time zones. As your device's time adjusts, it will eliminate the possibility of a travel record time mismatch. Delete User Data: You can now request the permanent deletion of your data within the TaxDay app. Trial Days: When new users sign up for the TaxDay app, the free trial has been adjusted 45 days (a credit card is still not required!). Manual Records Update: Fixed compatibility issues with latest iOS 16 release where it was not possible to manually update travel records. Other minor bugs fixes and format changes.

Reviews of TaxDay

Leave a Review TaxDay
  • Very frustrating and cumbersome app

First let me say the app can accomplish what you need it to, namely to track and classify your days in any jurisdiction. But the app itself is buggy and even when it works the way you need it to, it is incredibly cumbersome to use. The basic task of recording where you were on a given day takes too much time. And if you are in a jurisdiction that is in close proximity to cell tower in another jurisdiction (let’s say you’re close to the state line), the app will record hundreds of false positives for any given day that you will then have to categorize, which will take you far too much time to do. For the amount of money I spend, it should work better, and I plan to transition to a different app next year.
