Death by Ads
I used to check this every day, sometimes multiple times a day. Now every single time I click on a report an ad pops up, and often they can’t be clicked out of and redirect me to another webpage. I can’t tolerate it anymore and will just be deleting the app and relying on other social media reports. I understand there are costs which is why developers/companies sell out like this, but I honestly would have been happy to contribute money to keep it ad-free. Oh well.Show lessbrk_skws

Always check before heading to the beach.. good on the NSW fisheries for being so vigilant with their updates on the app.. my one wish is that the QLD department would also get on board.. hardly see any reports from them.. I LOVE this app. I live in Hawaii and didn’t know this app existed until recent shark attacks. I’m going to spread the word on Facebook since it’s a user generated app and the more people reporting the safer we’ll feel in the water.Wichitagirl

Something is off with this app. The app takes you to its website when you click on the icon, and asks you to set up an account, but the first response back is a “password invalid” type message, but it never even confirmed my new password or new account or sent me an email to confirm anything. Then when I googled the app, the page that comes up is the same sign up page the phone desktop icon takes you to. The whole experience was too shaky for me to buy into their onerous terms and conditions. Deleted.Show lessBigPoppaTuesday1492

Excellent app. I used it everyday whilst on holidays, down south, with my family. My only comment is that I wish the arial surveillance person would update the app immediately. I think it was almost an hour after.....or maybe it was my internet connection....before the shark report was posted.Jassy_77_Vincentia
