Invaluable

I use this the whole time in a number of ways: to transcribe solos from recordings; to shift the pitch of recordings to whatever pitch my band is playing them in; and the app also allows me to import the recordings made during our band rehearsals - this means I can slow down my own band in order to get my solo right at home. The functionality within the app is exactly what I want - each time, they thought of it already! I would really miss this app . It’s been a major part of my process and progress as a player.

Good visualisation

It’s easy to zoom in on any tricky section, loop and slow down with the waveform added, all helps. Only downside, not sure the audio is completely locked in with the waveform seems a slight delay on my device. Be good to see the actual notes transcribed instead of waveform.

Metronome

Please add a metronome feature. Everything else is wonderful.

Very nice app

After a few teething problems with licences on multiple devices (which was quickly remedied by good tech support responses), this app is very handy and straightforward. Good sound quality for time and pitch stretching.

Could be so much better

There is no count in if you just want to play a track from the beginning.

The tutorials are really bad with no concise information. Had to work out creating a loop with difficulty.

And the sliver that takes you through a track (on an iPhone) is too fiddly.

Awsome app

Very handy

This is a very good app

This is a very good app. I really enjoy it and it’s really helping me grow musically. It’s really nice to be able to slow things down and also for to split up the instrument so I can isolate vocals or base or whatever I want to. There is one annoying problem that if it’s playing and I tap on the audio to scroll back the even though it stays playing, the sound cuts out and I can’t hear anything and I have to press pause, and then play again to hear it. It’s super annoying. This is on an iPad Pro 2023. This would be a five star review other than this issue but it’s such a pain point for me.

Needs a larger landscape video mode

This is a fantastic app for learning music from videos but in landscape mode the UI takes up a great deal of space that could be used to enlarge videos during playback. If this change were made I’d give it five stars without hesitation.

Doesn’t actually transcribe

Maybe it’s obvious to others, but despite being called “Transcribe+” and billing itself as a transcription app, this app doesn’t transcribe audio into writing. It doesn’t do that, at all.
For $20, all it does is slow down audio, loop sections, and isolate instruments, so YOU can transcribe it yourself. (It can also change pitches, but that won’t help with transcription very much.)
If that’s what you need it for, great! It’ll do that. But you can also do those things in Audacity for free (albeit not from your iPhone, and not with “AI”).
I was trying to transcribe voice lessons, which are a combination of speaking and music. So I would have been ok with just a text transcription. This app doesn’t even do that, much less notate music.

Disappointing so far, doesn’t work well at all.

The claimed features of this app are completely false. It does not work!

I bought the $20.99 upgrade in hopes it would work better. Hmmm. After trying several songs I found the splitting of instruments into tracks does not work very well. The melody line sometimes appears on its own line, then parts of it jump to the guitar track. The melody line jumps up and down between tracks so that both tracks are needed to have all of the melody. Which means you can’t actually split the instruments into different tracks very well at all. Bass is also split onto 2 tracks.

The tutorial is incomprehensible. It could use some explanatory text. It is my understanding that a tutorial explains something. This one explains nothing. It is merely a place holder for where the tutorial should be.
