Works well, though very expensive
There are many apps which say they do what this one does, but this seems the most reliable, especially if you're based in the UK. It does indeed do all the things it's supposed to. However:
1. It's very expensive. £5 gets you 10 minutes and 13 texts – and that's for incoming as well as outgoing. And you have to use them within one month, or they expire.
2. I didn't find the interface particularly intuitive. Once you get the hang of it it's okay, but I suspect they bury certain features so that you don't realise just how much this app is going to cost to run.

But you need 'credits' to send messages. You only get 100 credits at the start - then you have to pay like £1.88 for more.. you can only send 7 texts for 100 credits..

Does what it says on the tin....a very expensive tin.
This app works. It's not buggy and unlike many other apps of its kind it works in the UK. You'll be able to send texts and make calls from a temporary number to pretty much anyone you want.
Despite this be aware if you plan to use this app beyond light use be prepared to fork out a fat stack of your cash. Texts and minutes are refilled by "credits" which you have to pay money for. The pricing is a bit absurd with £7.99 for 5000 credits which will get you just over 100 texts.
The internet exists, if you already pay for that and want to message anonymously there are plenty of ways to do that without paying more money.

Great app for all purpose rather you just want to keep your personal number save or your checking on fooling friends and family or even if your spouse is going outside of your relationship. Just would be great to be able to earn free credits like other apps by watching videos and trying other apps. It's a lot to pay for credits that you might use this app often and end up spending a lot of money in the long run.Show lessSerious rx

I love this service and the availability of numbers. The only thing I wish they would do is make it more user friendly. Just a bit more explanation about how to lag and definitely make it more clear about buying credits in the App Store then having to "get" minutes and texting with those credits. Also, since I have other services like this one, it would be great to easily find the number they've assigned to me.Show lessCoop1023
