  • Sells your info to tons of Moving companies with no oversight

Omg I have received FOURTEEN calls today during work from moving companies because the app let bothering me to do this step of submitting for quotes. Do not submit for quotes or you will get hounded. It doesn’t tell you who you’re sharing the info with, how many companies, and no opt out option or way to tell them to stop. Unless you want moving companies blowing you up. Clearly this is where the revenue comes from, but I have way more things to do than this. We don’t even need quotes because we are moving ourselves! Also there are so many common items not available to add to these rooms. 2 rooms I can’t even do because there’s not even a similar option for it. There are much easier ways than this app.

  • Very helpful

Very helpful to wrap your head around all of the tasks ahead of moving. Moving company reviews also help to narrow down which ones to reach out to for quotes.
  • Unhelpful

I downloaded primarily to use the timeline, but it doesn’t show you the full scope of what needs done, just unlocking items every few days. This is especially unhelpful because I’m traveling in the middle of the move and will need to have some tasks completed earlier.

Update: now I’m getting inundated with calls/texts from multiple moving companies wanting to give me a quote.

  • Missing inventory items - prepare to be phone spammed

It’s frustrating enough to not be able to find an appropriate item in the fixed inventory list. Then you can’t add custom items, you can’t modify existing items. It really “boxes” you in (pun intended).

Then the endless phone calls start. Even after I tell them that I don’t need a van/truck, the calls keep coming, even from the same companies.

Avoid this app. Try Encircle for a free app that won’t spam you and has greater functionality.

  • Ask for personal information just to get started

right off the bat, the app requires personal information (name, phone number, etc.) before doing anything (such as making it possible to evaluate the functionality of the app); this is a major red flag, I didn’t bother going further and deleted this spam magnet.
  • Inventory tool is almost great

I really like how the inventory tool works, but I wish there were an option to create your own items because there are no options for common furniture like dressers and wooden shelves. There are also some more obscure items I would like to add.
  • Could be better

This app doesn’t let you edit or add items not in their list. When you send email for help, they don’t respond. Will use other app.
  • Not as great as they hype

What good is a moving app that crashes every time you try to select a moving company to review? I also found it annoying that so many basic household items were missing from the choices and the app offers no option to manually add those items. You can’t get accurate estimates to the moving companies when your inventory is missing major items. I really like the listing of movers in the area and the ratings but then again, you can’t open the links to the companies.

  • Items missing

This is a pretty great app overall. Clean, smooth, intuitive. But among the items you can place in the rooms for inventory I cannot find either bookshelves or dressers. These seem like really ordinary, common items that nearly everyone has at least one of (especially the bookshelves), but they are not included as options. I am substituting metal shelves and base buffet for now, but any mover is going to be very surprised that we have 8 metal shelves spread throughout our home, and not 1, but 2 “base buffets.” It just feels inaccurate and out of touch with what real people have in their homes.

  • Glitchy

Very glitchy and crashes often. Also way overestimates the weight of most items.
