Not as great as they hype

What good is a moving app that crashes every time you try to select a moving company to review? I also found it annoying that so many basic household items were missing from the choices and the app offers no option to manually add those items. You can’t get accurate estimates to the moving companies when your inventory is missing major items. I really like the listing of movers in the area and the ratings but then again, you can’t open the links to the companies.

Items missing

This is a pretty great app overall. Clean, smooth, intuitive. But among the items you can place in the rooms for inventory I cannot find either bookshelves or dressers. These seem like really ordinary, common items that nearly everyone has at least one of (especially the bookshelves), but they are not included as options. I am substituting metal shelves and base buffet for now, but any mover is going to be very surprised that we have 8 metal shelves spread throughout our home, and not 1, but 2 “base buffets.” It just feels inaccurate and out of touch with what real people have in their homes.

Glitchy

Very glitchy and crashes often. Also way overestimates the weight of most items.

Unacceptable

I needed help to figure out approximate cost of relocating, tips to make my move easier. I am not willing to provide my email address, phone number, anticipating that movers will start calling.
It’s not what I needed.

Hi LGBLI, our app requires contact information for the functionalities to work (reviews, moving estimates, sharing or emailing your inventory). We will not share any contact information except when you decide to contact a moving provider for a price quote or when you request a moving cost estimate/movers comparison. In those cases your contact information will solely be used to receive the accurate price estimates from the moving consultants. These price estimates will take into your account your moving distance, move size and moving date for accuracy. We don't share information with ad networks. We firmly believe that if you tried to use the app past the registration screen it would greatly help you manage your move better. If you have any suggestions or ideas on how we can improve, please shoot us an email. Thank you.

Wasted hours of my time

The email inventory to yourself feature did not work! I can not figure no way to get my inventory list out after hours of data entry. This makes this product worse than WORTHLESS!

Weak

Went to the trouble to register and fill in moving details, contact info and do a full home inventory. Tried to email to myself as a test and to file but after several attempts NOTHING! Also looked up moving companies in my immediate area and got National long distance locations. Big disappointment. Not recommended. Time waster.

How do I report this app

I hate this. I stupidly submitting the first step expecting to get emails w quotes and am being spammed with phone calls. Do not download. It isn’t worth it.

App wants personal info.

You need to give all kinds of personal information, including email and phone number before you can even use the app. I just want a moving app, I don’t want a bunch of spam emails and phone calls.

Helped with my NY move

The app tuned out to be helpful with my NY move over the summer. I used the planner and along with the itemization part of the app, it saved me some time when I was getting estimates from the moving companies.
