  • Vector Art? Inkpad.

If you’re a fan of the excellent Inkscape tool for desktops, Inkpad is it’s closest counterpart on iOS. Inkpad is fast, stable, and offers excellent SVG support so you can import all your Inkscape favourites. Vector art creativity is unleashed with Inkpad.
  • Best comeback ever

I was so happy to see Inkpad back on iPad! Let me know if you ever need beta testers. This is such an intuitive and fantastic vector tool. Good luck!!!!!
  • Nice app but room for improvement

Nice app but there’s room for improvements, one of the first ones for me would be to add kerning and leading to the type tool.

Good start, looking forward to more enhancements.
  • Awesome App

This is an amazing app. I am a studen and run a home business it works great trying to create my own SVGs, png, and jpeg files. Still kind on new to it but really easy to figure out. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.
  • Great but missing some 'pointless' omissions

This is a very clean app, easy to learn and works well with the Pencil, but... like all such apps, there is no facility to perform 'accurate' drawing! PLEASE, think of including this in future revisions. Not everyone wants to just 'sketch'. The reason for the title is this - you start by specifying a size of paper, you allow users to snap to grid points on the page, you can pick and reposition & resize points/lines/shapes so you absolutely know where the points sit on the page, so why not give the user an option to control these points at the database level, or type in the points on creation?

This the the same in all 'freehand' graphic apps (unless someone knows otherwise?), why not make yourself stand out some more? Thanks for the good work, but I'll keep looking for my ideal app.

  • Good, but not accurate enough

I’ve just started using this app. My first impression is that it works on a basic level, but finding a few things missing to make it useful for more accurate designs. While I can alter the points by changing the Bezier handles, I can’t actually get them to create a proper point (please correct me if I’m wrong).
There is a lack of a transform option, save the “Transform again” option. And while you can rotate, there is no way to see the amount of degrees you’re rotating the object or item.
I also wish it had a dark UI option.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't got off to a good start with Inkpad. Version 2.3 added a rotation options dialog with angle slider, nudge buttons and keypad input. Oh and Inkpad 2.0 added a dark UI option.
  • Inkpad Returns !!

I am delighted to see that you are continuing the development of Inkpad. ... The new App appears to work beautifully with my iPad Pro 9.7" and Pencil.

Although it is less feature-rich than the 'Graphic' App: Inkpad is easy to use, and has a very clean interface. ... and its implementation of the Pencil is excellent !
    [see my review of Graphic]

    One feature-request, if I may:
Would you please consider adding an Isometric Grid with 'snap to' functionality; as a selectable option.

  • I must be stupid...

I must be stupid. Can’t get anywhere with this. Very frustrating

Hi, We are sorry to hear you are having trouble with Inkpad. Learning to use vectors can take a while, but the results can be very rewarding. Please take a look at the video tutorials on our website or YouTube channel. Or feel free to get in touch by email so that we can help.
  • Correction: Do buy

My original issue seems to be with IOS 11.1.2. To get this app to download on my second iPad, I could not just go to the app in the app store. That process wanted me to pay again. I had to review my purchases to find the free second download. I don’t recall this issue in the past. My main use of Inkpad is to get text into Procreate. For that it works quite well, especially since Inkpad can export as a PNG file.

I'm very pleased to hear that all worked out for you, thanks for the update.
  • Some additions to improve

It’s a good tool, still learning but here are a few suggestions:

    - Add ability to import from cloud accounts other than DropBox such as OneDrive, iCloud.
    - the undo button should be positioned at the top left ( or top left for left-handed designers) of the screen to improve workflow, this way you can undo with your finger.

Hi, support for iCloud Drive has been added in Inkpad 2.2.0, also adding support for Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox and Box, allowing import and export of multiple drawings and images to and from all cloud storage services supported by the Apple Files app.
