App connects to camera with no problems but have no video feed just a black screen when I tap on the connected camera any ideas how to fix this thanks

Disappointed

Works same as e-view. I used to be able to view when away from home and recent updates I no longer have that ability. I downloaded this app In hopes I can view away from home yet once again I’m disappointed. Can’t view away from home wasted money

Most definitely

I bought these cameras not to long ago and they are everything plus more for the price. The controls are very easy to figure out on the app and running the multi camera system without homemade and a bunch of wires all over is sold for me.

Inconsistent product with horrible support

I have 4 of their cameras and it is just like the other reviewers have said. The cameras or their software will work fine for a while and then just stops working. After hours working on them, following their directions carefully over and over again and nothing works, you just give up.
But then what makes this company’s products really horrible is their lack of customer service. First of all, they will not help at all over the phone, no matter what. No, instead you contact them by email, wait a day or 2 for a response. The response is a form email that gives you the instructions you have tried several times that don’t work. You email them back that you have tried all that several times and the camera still does not work. They email back different instructions and they don’t work either. You beg for help over the phone but they say they can’t help over the phone. That’s it for Wansview customer support and you toss another one of their cameras into the garage.
Yes there are positive reviews, but I believe they are from those who just bought the camera and within a few months they will be throwing them into the garage too.
Any company who will not standby their products by providing telephone support deserves these bad reviews.
Please take the advice from me and other reviewers and do not buy this company’s products.

Worked great until I moved

The camera worked great on my last network and I used it all the time to check in on my dogs.
I’ve done everything I can but, since I moved, I just can’t get the camera to connect to my new wifi network. I even hooked it up to Ethernet. No luck. So the camera’s totally useless now.

Cannot connect to Wifi

About two years ago these devices were very easy to set up. Now it is impossible. What happened?

Two Camera’s “11 months and 3 years old” quit working all of a sudden.

We had two cameras both purchased at different times both just quit working. When the first one was purchased it originally had a 5 year warranty, they changed it to 1 year. The second newer camera, they were only
Going to offer us a fractional refund even though it was still under warranty. They tried to get us to write a 5 star review for a new camera that we had to buy first before they would refund a portion of it. That was how they were going to give us the refund. Bad business.

I used it this for my dog so I can see him when I wasn’t home and it started off great then all of a sudden it goes offline. So I had to constantly restart when I get home when I couldn’t even see him. I tried to use it again tonight and it didn’t even make it through the night without saying Offline

Save your money!

I normally don’t write reviews but I had to with this camera. It’s like having a toy gun that looks real. The guy before me said it best when he compared it to a lazy employee that don’t want to work and you have to stay on them.

It continues to go offline, when I need to check to see outside, it’s not working. I’m constantly resetting it and I’ve only had it a couple months. If you want to use it to scare people away, buy it...
