Good camera for the price point. Overall reliable camera. Picture quality is good both in daylight and night. Recommend

Only use it for a live view for my newborn. Not using it to record or anything so can't comment on that.
Wainsview IP Camera
I’ve had a Wainsview camera for years . It’s wonderful because when we are away we can see ,hear and also talk to our dog if we need . I have the app on my phone so whenever I need to see what’s going on , I just open up the app and I can view what’s going on at home !

Can’t even be bothered, it’s so rubbish.
The camera itself is GREAT!!!
The only complaint I have is that the older version camera’s are not able to connect and record to the cloud like the newer version cameras. Other than that their very easy to set up and use and the picture and sound are fantastic and definitely worth the price!!

I’ve been using this app with 5 Wansview cameras around my RV, inside and out, for the past 2+ years where I’m very pleased with the results. Except for a few times when the app didn’t recognize my cameras, where I simply exited the app, then clicked it again, I haven’t had any issues with the app, knock on wood.

Clunky - No iPhone Alerts
Their cameras are actually pretty decent but they are held back by this poor app. The app connects to the cameras easy enough, but that’s about all that is positive.
The cameras and app cannot send a notification to my iPhone which is just plain silly. You can jump through hoops and get it to send email notifications, but I ended up getting dozens of false alerts every day and had to turn email notifications off.
Also there is no smart integration with Alexa, Google, or IFTTT which is a huge drawback.
I have half a dozen working Wansview cams, but I’m ready to scrap them and get a system that is user friendly and will actually notify me with alerts.

Wansview camera
We have had this camera for 3 years and love it. We point it at our living room, but we pick up such a wide angle that we see the hallway and kitchen as well. I would recommend this camera to anyone.
Not impressed with latest update
Support suggests not to use dark mode on phone as the problem with previous iOS issue dark mode.
Strange that all my other applications worked ok with dark mode.
This latest update has removed dark mode.

Some text is hard to read in the app if you’re using dark mode.
