Great app but hard to find in App Store
Hard to find in App Store as prime keeps showing me Amazon prime. Still liking this app with it focus highlighting.
2024 Problem: on my new iPhone 12 if I go into shutter priority I can adjust the shutter speed all the way to 1/1 ( 1 sec ) but move your finger to the right to go slower and you jump out of the Prime app back to the home screen. The app has not shutdown as it is still running in the background and if you switch back to it the exposure is now AUTO.
STILL works fine on my iPhone SE2 but on that phone shutter speed stops at 1/3 sec and app keeps running on as it should. BOTH phones on ios 17.5.1 Please a little fix needed. Oh yes - It switches lenses on the 12 so understands the newer phone.Show lessAndy T8

This camera app looked appealing with all the manual controls . But, nothing works? Can’t control any of the screens to select your settings and can’t switch from manual to auto very easily!?? Has great potential if there was a tutorial available or where to find it.POORmajors p

Couldn’t you change aperture size etc.
For me, one of the benefits is being able to get things wrong. It’s a good way to learn.
Otherwise I might as well use the Apple camera app.bean-strafter

Great app, but missing a key feature...
Video! I love this app for taking photos, but do you know what I’d love even more? I would have to have the same great functionality manual abilities while shooting videos on my iPhone. As someone in the media industry, I wanted an app that could be my one stop shop. An app that could entirely replace my built in Camera app. An app that could elegantly combine manual control, with functionality and ease of use.
This app is it! I love the manual functionality, allowing me to take long exposures and fine tune my settings. Despite the missing video functions, this app performs flawlessly for photography purposes. While I hope to see video features in the near future, it is not a complete deal breaker, and I will continue using this app for quite some time to come.
To the team behind the application, you sure have created something great. Please take this feedback on board, as video features would be essential in allowing this app to truly replace the built in Camera app. Thanks.Show lessSpence_H
Simple, easy to use, but no GPS data
I want to like Prime. It’s a camera app without all the filters and additional bells and whistles that a lot of other apps include. The UI is simple and easy to use (slide up/down to focus, left/right to adjust exposure or shutter speed). The peaking display works well and clearly differentiates the zone of focus. But it doesn’t embed GPS coordinates in RAW files, which is a shame because if it did it would be my favourite camera app.Show lessDrdul
