I have tried various apps to use as a replacement for the stock camera & after a couple of wks I always go back. I have had this app for a month now and I haven't used anything else for pictures. It opens very fast which is mandatory to not lose shots. My favorite part though is the focus peaking. My pictures with the iPhone have improved since I can make sure what I want in focus is, not what the camera thinks I want. This is definitely my favorite of the manual camera apps & I recommend for people to try it out all the time. Try it... I don't think you'll regret it.Show lesstonguetwizted

Actually lives up to the hype!
I heard about Focus from the blog "lifeinlofi," and I agree with their assessment that this is probably the best interface of any of the manual camera apps out there. The focus peaking is also top notch. When I went to download this app, it only had a few reviews (and a few of them seemed fake), but it really is that good! I actually appreciate the lack of filters, sharing, and social add-ons and I hope the developers are not tempted to add that clutter and bloat.Show lessThe_Real_Boo_Radley

Being an avid instagram user I have to be able to do two things: take great photos or take okay photos and use an app to get better quality. I love the overlays and 3rd level feature that Focus have.Nesha:)

I know filters help my photo after it's been taken, but the his app really helps me BEFORE I've taken the picture.
I've never been really good at taking this amazing pictures with my iPad but this makes it MUCH easier.

Great start but low resolution (?), no sharing
Found this via ProductHunt. Initially pleased with its interface and features, until I noticed it was saving photos at a measly 1280x960 resolution, when my understanding is that iPhones are now capable of 3264x2488 (I'm not 100% sure on this). Also missing any Share functionality to email or post to Instagram or anywhere else.Show lessBjorn Larsen (@bjorn)
