I almost gave up looking for a FREE app to delete a portion of sound on my video. Every other app either deleted all of the sound or charged to deleted some of the sound. This was sooo quick, easy and FREE!

Beware of signing up for the free trial. I was charged for an annual subscription the same day I signed up for the trial. I was not supposed to be charged anything as long as I cancelled the trial before the end of the 3 days and I cancelled the trial the same day I signed up for it. I have seen other reviews that mention the same thing and apple has denied my dispute twice and won’t refund my money.
Beyond this, the app is mediocre at best and barely improved the sound of the video I was editing. The different options for fixes either made the sound worse or made such a subtle improvement it is hard to notice. So I paid $16 for an almost useless app when I wasn’t supposed to be charged at all and am very unhappy.Show lessQuinndawg1313

Hello! I’m sorry this happened. Is it possible you did the free trial already? AudioFix has been around a long time. Because AudioFix also boosts your volume upon first export, try importing that video again if you need further noise reduction. Original…I wasted my money! It will not download a 24 sec audio file from my phone. It just keeps saying analyzing video! Don’t waste your money. It NEVER downloaded the file!
Update…the developers contacted me after my review. I will say the above comment is a bit strong but I was agitated on the fact I purchased something that wasn’t working properly. What I am trying to do is important. I am trying to enhance an audio file of a loved one whom recently past. I finally did get the audio file to upload and went through some of the “correction” comparisons. For me it honestly only sounded like it adjusted the volume because when I played it back at max volume it still sounded staticy/hissy. I have a newer iphone and the audio file was taken inside of a house on my iphone. Apparently it picks up every single sound. I am just trying to reduce hissing in the background and get the person speaking to sound louder. It worked a little but not as much as I was hoping for.

Hello! We’ve had no other reports of any bugs. Sorry that happened. Please restart your device. That usually fixes a glitch. If not, try deleting and reinstalling the app. Also, check your free internal storage. If you have less than 20% available your device may glitch or not have space to process audio and video. Please contact us from the side menu of the app so we can help. I guarantee we’ll get it working for you! Update: as you can see we’re very responsive, especially if you email us through the side menu of the app. Because AudioFix also boosts your volume upon first export, try importing that video again if you need further noise reduction. Garbage app. Tried uploading multiple videos. Once selected, it says analyzing audio. It stays hung up on that part forever and never finishes. This is a garbage app that doesn’t work made by subpar reject computer programmers that are producing and selling this garbage to people. Don’t waste your money on this app.Show lessCouchpotatoism

On Audio Fix app, after clicking on “contact us” a pop up appears showing text “Email is not configured on this device.” I used email shown on their website (linked from Twitter page) and email was invalid. Why not just show the email to make it easy?
I wanted to email support to try to problem solve why app isn’t appearing to better the audio I’m attempting to clean.

Hello! Try importing the exported video again for further noise reduction. Run it through the String Hiss Removal filter. Please email us through the side menu of the app if we can ever help.It works only set back is background noise

I purchased the pro version and I use it all the time. I record a weekly video of me covering a song with my guitar. This app helps me set the best volume and also smooth out the music for better listening. I wish I knew more about the volume adjustment and saving formats though. I usually post my videos and having the right volume is important. Would be great if I knew the db levels I was changing it to. I also don’t save compressed versions simply because I worry Im losing quality. All and all this app was a game changer for me.Show lessBig D 11/19

Completely useless. Uploaded video, received the spinning wheel and said “analyzing video”, and did nothing. Canceled free trial and uninstalled app after fifteen minutes if frustration. Do not waste your time with this app.B Fabulous 😘
