Thank you and a few requests
1) I just paid for your new multicam addon, even though I don’t think I’ll ever use it except to sync externally recorded audio. I did it to support you. Please, keep it up and don’t go rental model. I don’t mind paying for addons every now and then to keep your programmers afloat.
2) Please let me select multiple clips and add transitions for all of them at the same time. Not letting me do this goes against your moto (i.e. it becomes boring and repetitive otherwise).
3) Thanks for the histograms, I appreciate you introduced those, but they are not that useful without more powerful color correction tools. By this I mean color vs. brightness, color vs saturation, etc. 2d histograms where you can use an eye dropper to define a color range to modify within it like Davinci Resolve does. Of couse, you can choose to do it another way, but please, provide a more powerful set of color tools.
4) How about a white balance slider?
5) How about dehaze and texture filters?
6) I want to be able to color correct clips to match for example the sky in each. As an example, I may have one that is log and needs a lut, the other may be regular 10 bit rec709, another may be an hlg clip another D-cinelike; all dropped on the same hlg timeline. For this I would like to put two clips side by side and would like better color tools.
No matter what, thank you and keep it up!Show lessSlow Export with Stabilizer
This app is fantastic in all that it does but the one feature that I use all the time in any video editing software is the stabilization feature. For some reason the stabilization when applied within this piece of software causes the video preview frame rate to drop significantly. Then when I go to export the video with the stabilization applied, the final export time takes a VERY long time for a roughly 6 minute video. When I turn the stabilizer off, the export time speeds up exponentially. I am not sure if all of this is by design or if it is a limitation of the iPhone hardware OR if it is an issue with the program It’s self.
I first tried all of this on my iPhone 13 Pro then tried it on the new iPhone 15 Pro and the results are the exact same on both, stuttering video preview and very slow exports with the stabilization active. I know that export times won’t be anything close to that of my MacBook Pro but it still seems quite slow for the duration of video that I am working with in this case. Could one of the developers chime in on this by chance and give me some insight as to what might be going on?Show lessDeveloper Response

This app has been my go to option for on-the-fly phone edits, when I’m not using Davinci Resolve. Overall, it does everything I need, except it doesn’t have retime automation functionality (which makes zero sense for an otherwise professional editing tool, that lets you automate every other parameter).
I found a workaround, where you can basically make multiple cuts on a single clip where you would normal set automation points. You can then adjust the speed within each clip (at incremental intervals), so it gives you a speed ramp(ish) look. However, it’s not nearly as clean and if you want to adjust the overall look, you basically have to delete all the clips with speed adjustments, and start over again because they’ll be out of sync (whereas if you had automation points, you could simply delete those points or make adjustments accordingly without losing much progress).
PLEASE add this Luma team and it will be a perfect mobile editing app. Thank you!Show lessDeveloper Response
Thank you for the review and feedback! We are planning to develop a Speed Ramping feature for LumaFusion in the future.
