LumaFusion - Not too hard to learn!

I’ve been an occassional LF user for over a year and even though my visits have been infrequent, I find it relatively simple to use. The MULTICAM feature is a must…don’t bother without it. It can be fiddly, but persevere because for most people it does the job 100% and if you devote enough time the “Pro” features really can make your videos look better than average…just don’t over-reach yourself early (like I did)…be happy!

The application crashes at startup, restarting the phone does not help, reinstalling too.In general, it doesn't start from the word at all. Please fix this problem

We recommend updating to versions 5.1.3 of LumaFusion and iPadOS 18.2 to see if that helps. Also, we are soon releasing version 5.1.4, so be sure to update when that becomes available, as well.

Family sharing

I paid for this app because it says it supports family sharing, but it does not let me family share. Now I just want a refund.

Brutal Lately!

Was there a recent update? Every so often it says the project I’m working on is “missing media that must be on an external drive”. Which it isn’t.
Also sometimes “adds the clip” I want to but then doesn’t have the video or audio….just a black screen for the duration of said clip. I can watch the entire clip in the preview but when I add it, nothing.
The two issues happen at different times otherwise it might make sense? Either way I have to exit the app, reopen it, and then it works as it should. It’s very annoying to have to do this. So annoying I wrote a negative review and I have never reviewed anything, ever.

Please fix these bugs.

USE to be Good

For some reason the new 5.0 lumafusion is so glitchy. The audio upgrades are great but I find I have to render projects like 15 times and keep fiddling around to make glitches in audio and video to go away. It’s frustrating as all hell. It use to be seamless

My Go-to Editing App

I purchased LumaFusion a number of years ago, and despite the advent of many other iOS video editing apps, it remains my favorite and preferred one. I know DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro apps are powerful and great, but I still prefer the intuitive design of LumaFusion and its ease of use. It’s great for someone starting out in video editing who wants a step up from iMovie or similar apps, but doesn’t want an overly complicated program. I can tackle simple edits with LumaFusion as well as more complex ones. Plus, the app designer - LumaTouch - offers plenty of online (and free) learning resources. The recent updates have only added to LumaFusion’s value, especially since it’s a one-time purchase and not a subscription-based video editing program. If you want or need music, SFX, additional video footage and similar assets, you can subscribe to StoryBlocks which you can easily access through the app itself. I enjoy LumaFusion and highly recommend it.

Audio doesn’t match video pace after the update

Been a long time user and loved it until the recent update, now when i edit, the audio always jumps around and lags behind… very very frustrating please fix

A really great tool! Add-ons are too pricey

As much as I love Luma Fusion, $25 for speed ramping and another $25 for FCP export is a little steep! I’m ok with paying for advanced features, but please, bring it down a bit. Somewhere around $12.99 for new features would be a little more palatable. -1 star. That said, it really is a great video editing app, the best on the App Store by far, and honestly amazing to do this on a mobile device! There are a few other advanced features I hope will someday make it into LumaFusion: 2D (or 3D) point-cloud tracking, Animated callouts, Manual/Auto rotoscoping/ background removal, iPhone Cinematic mode DoF control.
