Can’t name or control devices
With my Orbi router and app I can rename devices to easily identify them, such as “Mom’s iPhone.” The GFiber app uses the MAC address to identify devices and you cannot change the display name. Also, no way to pause or block internet access per devices. No grouping of devices so that I can prevent access for “Timmy” or “The Playroom”. I may unplug the Google router and use the Orbi instead.Show lessTennisLover26
Awful internet service and customer service! Stay AWAY!
I signed up for Google Fiber about a month ago and have had the worst internet and customer service i’ve ever experienced!
They’ve had to send 2 different techs out, both right out of college with zero experience. It was clear neither cared or had any idea how to setup correctly.
After reporting the problem multiple times to customer service nothing ever was fixed.
I am cancelling and swearing off all things google. Even selling my small amount of shares. I want nothing to do with this company. Not even going to user their browser anymore. STAY AWAY!!!!!Show lessAustin Fabel
Terrible customer support
I'm starting to think that maybe switching back over to Xfinity and paying an extra $50 a month is actually worth it. Customer support is very unprofessional and not helpful at all when contacting them, this app is very bad and buggy, and managing my router and Internet is very limited. With xfinity I was easily able to group device's and limit Internet to individual or groups, but you can't with thisShow lessAceDsk
