Reviews of Google Sheets

  • What’s the point of an app?

For the life of me I do not understand the point of this app. There’s virtually no NECESSARY formatting. Can’t “print selection”. Can’t choose portrait vs landscape or set margins or select multiple rows (individually, in order to give each one an underline etc), only ranges of things. It’s…. it’s literally useless. I have so many times sat down and created complicated forms for my clinic on this thing - given that it’s a spreadsheet and certain things are easier to organize on a spreadsheet - only to find out I can’t format ANYTHING so no matter what I do it will never print out looking how I want it to look. I’ll create a document that looks like it will be a full page, but the “print” screens shows that it’s miniscule, tiny font, takes up 1/4 of a letter size page. There’s no way to know. No margins. No rulers. Honestly…..why even bother having this as an app and how has it survived this long with so little functionality?
  • Barely Useable

This is not an iPad app. Unfortunately, Google just packed the iPhone app to iPad and called it a day.

The eagerness to preserve space to display the spreadsheet made it a good spreadsheet reader, but it’s nearly impossible to use this to create new spreadsheets. There are very few options available in the app, and the ones that exist are hidden so well that I spend most of the time on the app looking for obvious things instead of doing what I need to do :/ The interface is so jumpy… Anything I click provokes something somewhere in the screen to move, because everything is “context sensitive” so you get a few more inches of display instead of just a fixed toolbar with a decent formula editor.
I understand this is supposed to run on all iPad sizes, but the experience for a user with a keyboard on an 11inch display like me is rather poor. I end up going to the browser and using the website.
  • The Ulrimate Solutions to Everything is Here

Years of trying to improve time management skills has finally become obvious to me at least this is the place that integrates with EVERYTHING & EVERYONE!

If wasn't even weeks ago that CRM’s. Portals, CMS’s, Industry developed apps for efficiency were being developed & still be developed sold & used.

With some exceptions of course to be realistic & totally truthful Google Workspace along with all the other complimentary apps, tools, assets, attributes, Beta Testing, accommodations, schedulng, tracking using all the strictest business best practices of course is obvious to me that everything that any person or AI computer can think of realistic or not is already being used by those who see this is the future now.
