Weird glitch
I downloaded the app maybe 2 days ago and randomly I could no long see any of the messages if I opened a thread. I could see the preview, but that’s all. I’ve deleted and downloaded the app again hoping it would fix it. It’s honestly annoying me.Brielle Delo
Too many bugs
There’s that annoying constant warning in the chatroom that makes it awkward to chat with people. The gem system is kind of old and tired now. I wish it were possible to find people you want to find (usernames maybe). And the perverts are ASTRONOMICAL. You can report all you want but they pop up anyway. I will give a handclap for it being diverse and there being room to experiment with the languages. Also, for adding photos I wish the horizon was bigger so the whole picture can fit in.Show lessdchoi127
Children Must Be Safer
I first downloaded MEEF when I was fourteen; at the time I was trying to learn Korean to be able to watch Korean dramas, and listen to Korean pop music without needing English translations. I was young, impressionable, and eager to learn— willing to learn from anyone who was willing to help. Unfortunately those I found who were willing to help me were as old as 27. The youngest being 23. Looking back at it, these men did not want to teach me their language, they wanted to take advantage of me. They said some very disturbing things which has affected me still to this day. I am eighteen today, and the reason I’m writing a review is not to blame all my mistakes upon the programmers, but to make sure you all know that MEEF is not a safe place for children. Make it IMPOSSIBLE for children to contact adults, and please, please make it impossible for adults to contact children. We are only children for so long, help keep us safe. I wasn’t. I have had meeff for a long time and this app is nearly perfect. The people who made the app block bad accounts quickly, and they aren’t money hungry like most friend meeting apps. Many would charge large sums of money to talk to people who might not even respond, but this app lets you make plenty of friends with very few ads. It can crash sometimes if you have lots of chats, but I think this app can only get better as time passes.Show lessfjdns cb
Not working
I’m not sure whether it’s being updated or not but I deleted the app and downloaded it again to try and fix this, the app keeps asking for my birthday but when it accepts it, it’ll ask again and won’t let me use the app, is there a glitch??______problem______
App Issues
Ok so for the last few days everything was great (asides from some perves that were quickly blockedt), I've actually made quite a few friends from Spain and South Korea, etc. I actually really enjoy this app, and the only reason I'm giving it two stars is because out of nowhere when I tried to go onto the app it went straight to the birthday info and no matter how many times I input it, it won't go back to my messages or anything and I've already tried deleting and reinstalling it. Unsuitable first dating as such!
Too expensive as you must pay for rubies to use every feature in the app apart from when the other person starts the chat then you gotta spend more money in order to chat to them for a longer period of time! plus your preferences do not get matched up correctly and hence you’ll get more strangers trying to add you! I'm going to keep it relatively brief. Matched with a whole lot of people (~100 in a single day!), only 3% were looking for friends. The problem with the app is (despite being laggy-buggy) that it positions itself as a platform to befriend people. That is so deceiving. I mean, when I figured this "place" out and deleted some pics, got a notification that said it's not the best move if you want to match with more people, and one of the options to close the notification was something like "maybe later, baby". Ok but... Aargh. And if you think a simple "no pervs! not interested!!!" in your bio will stop the horde... hate to break it for you, it won't. Whatsoever. So, you want to just mess around or have naughty chat? Welcome to Meeff! Want to meet long term friends? Meh, try some other app.Show lessБелый Негр Виталя

The app is good but it would be even better if there was a ‘go live’ option, it will be an easier way to meet new people and communicate with them using that option!Wijdhsnankalalqmw

I have used gems to appear on the Today list since the latest update a few days ago and I’m no longer getting any friend requests, even though people are messaging me elsewhere to say they tried adding me. This makes the app completely pointless. It was working just fine before, please look into this and fix it. Thank you.Show lesslulu19x
