Best control surface and sounds plus infinite parameter tweaking
GeoShred Pro is simply one of the best control surfaces and performance tools in the entire app-verse ! I have been onboard since it’s release and with the new GeoStrings and Woodwinds Modeling packages it is over the top. We, the professional musicians and hobbyist have, (literally, at our fingertips) expressive, professional grade instruments that offer the range of emotion and personality that rivals and complements the multifaceted range of instruments our cultures have developed over many centuries. GeoShred, and touch control instruments in general, are not ‘instruments of the future’, they are the ‘instruments of now’. Present, alive, and fully articulate. In your hand, as a novice, you can spend hours of enjoyment... as a professional, at your fancy, you have an instrument that is as flexible and nuanced as any other. Plus, and this is important, the customer service is second to none. I’ve had one glitch in all my years as a customer and they got on it immediately and resolved the glitch within 48 hours. They did not stop until they figured it out. GeoShred pro: awesome!
I’m a long time keyboard/guitar guy- decades…
I’ve played all kinds of instruments over the years: pianos (grand, electric, electronic), organs (pipe, Hammond), synths (you get the idea). I still have quite the collection.
GeoShred won’t take the place of any of them, but it is an awesome addition to the palate! The intuitive expression capabilities are a bit overwhelming at first, but I’m getting the hang of it. I have not added the string or woodwind instruments yet- I’m trying to get a handle on the interface first- but I can’t wait to play cello and flute with the expression that this offers (I have to be an acrobat to achieve the results I want using MIDI and samples).
My hat is off to the designers and programmers! This IS an instrument- not a toy or game.

The most intuitive, best-sounding way of playing and composing with almost limitless choice of instruments and timbres.
If you can’t have serious fun with this, then you need serious help.
Also - I had a serious glitch for a bit, and I was zombagulated at the rapid and expert frontline help, and follow up that not only fixed Le problem, but went the extra light year in seeing it right through.
These guys have thought it right through, and it shows.

Harry-125. Your review is totally unfair. Note that there are many interrupt driven processes on an iOS device THAT WILL MUTE ANY AUDIO APP. The way that iOS works, apps cannot mask these, you must do it yourself. It would be prudent to mask these. Update has messed up
GeoShred has some terrific sounds, especially the Naada and SWAM in-app purchases. High quality instruments including exotic stuff that is hard to find on IOS. Selecting what you want is STILL a scrolling nightmare, despite the recent update, and that update has caused my previous purchases to not show up in AU3 mode. Yes, I have ‘restored purchases’ in stand alone, and still the problem persists. Hopefully this will be fixed fast. GeoShred with Riffler the guitar app (not to be confused with Riffer) under AUM or in Loopy Pro, and you have the basis of a hard rocking band!Show lessTheWightGuy

laggy hard to use lots of pops ups n ads
editing my review note so im not as aggressive,
app works fine as an auv3 its a little laggy, theres some discrepensies being theres alot of popups interupting workflow, the sounds imo arent the best and isnt what i was expecting for all the hype, but the fact theres paywalls behind every other preset im just gunna look for another app, and its not about the money just annoying to see comapnies try and trick you into thinking you need to spend 200$ for their in app purchasesShow lessLeaderAtreyu

Can you please reach out to us directly at support@moforte.com. 1) We would like to understand the use case for how you are seeing lag in the Auv3. This is not typical. In fact the Auv3 should be faster unless there is an issue with the host that you are using. 2) There are no ads in GeoShred. We would like to understand what you are seeing. Yes there are In-App-Purchases (IAPS) for 3rd party instruments from Audio Modeling (SWAM) and AcellMatrix (Naada). These IAPs are 1/10th the cost of the desktop versions and offer exceptional value. There is NO intention to trick you. We offer 3rd party instruments and they set the prices. 3) There is no paywall. It's honestly a pretty great invention. It functions like an actual instrument because it is one— and the options available for instrumentation are vast. On top of that, there are fine tunings that can be done with each instrumentation, and with SWAM instruments it gets even better. Although the program does have a few issues with GarageBand, that is due to GarageBand rather than GeoShred. I would recommend merging GeoShred recordings immediately after creating them (quantize first if you want, of course), as at times the audio will completely disappear after reopening GarageBand. Merging is an easy and effective solution.

It’s a super sonic sound controller
As someone who, by no stretch of the imagination, can be classed as a musician/player I have managed to master the GeoShred playing surface and on occasion convince ‘players’ that I am a ‘more than capable’ multi- instrumentalist. I have to admit it’s all thanks to the developers and their ‘instrument’. Based on a stringed instrument, you set it up to your taste and away you go.
The support team are very helpful and are guaranteed to speedily get back to you with answers to your queries.
