  • How to Load Expansions on a 2nd Device

For the person who was unable to load a purchased expansion pack on a second device… In Module Pro (and many other apps), you can't always proceed as if you are buying the expansion on a 2nd device w/ your Apple ID. You may need to do a "restore" to force the 2nd device to check for purchases. In Module Pro, you go to the Store page. In the upper left corner, there is a "Your Items" button. That opens a pop-up window, with a "Restore" button in the top left. Tapping that should recognize the expansion packs you purchased on your 1st device (and add them to the list below). You may also need to do a "Download" step after this, either there or via a button at the bottom of the expansion's display in the Store (I don't recall).

Hello, thank you for the message and for helping informing other users. Best regards, KORG App Team
  • Disappointing

The stock piano sounds are underwhelming and inferior to any decent portable stage piano. I downloaded a trial of the Ivory piano expansion but it never showed up in the app, even after downloading it twice. There also doesn’t appear to be drawbars to adjust the organ patches. I guess you need to buy an expansion pack for that.

I am annoyed that I spent $20 on an app that is so limited. The organs and EPs are much better in Apple’s Logic for iPad. Logic is more expensive, but it provides the control and sound I expect from a professional app.

    Developer Response

Hello, Thank you for your message and sorry for the inconvenience. Regarding the Ivory Piano trial, could you please check the following steps? - The Ivory modules are very large in size, so please ensure your device have enough space available. - Inside Module app, go to "Store -> Your Items". Locate the Ivory item, click "Download" only once and wait. If after this procedure the sounds still not available, please reach us in the support channel and our team will be glad to help. https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new We're looking forward to see you trying the Ivory Piano and other modules. Best regards, KORG App Team
  • It’s ok, needs a couple things

The sounds are pretty good. I like that I can use it live on stage. Unfortunately there are two issues, I’ve used it on both my phone and my iPad, but it constantly drops the connection with both midi and usb mid song causing me to have to disconnect and reconnect it to get a connection. Not very good as my band has contracts with casinos in Nevada that pay very well and if we can’t perform, they won’t renew our contract. I also use my iPad to run sound at the same time I’m playing and when I switch apps to adjust something the Korg app stops working. Other apps allow me to do that. I have to adjust the sound then reopen the Korg app. So now I have to use two separate iPads to prevent this from happening. Also, the sounds are good, but are limited as to how much I can adjust them. Need more mids? Nope. Need to cut lows? Nope. Not in all of the sounds anyway. Need drawbars on your organ? Nope. Just the presets for you. Want to add distortion to your instrument? Compression? Nope. That’s only allowed on some of the instruments. I’m keeping the app because I’m hoping some of the issues I have will be addressed at some point. Don’t get me wrong, the sounds so far are better than the majority of other apps. But my Roland keyboards have the ability to adjust way more, it’s just a lot harder to do and they’re big and heavy to lug around.
