  • Danger Will Robinson danger.

If you have any concerns about protecting your privacy then you need to very closely look at their privacy policy. It's a disaster for the consumer in that this app wants to know everything about you and it's going to share that knowledge with everybody in the whole world. By the whole world I mean Google. I immediately deleted this app and would never agree to accepting any privacy policy like this one.
  • Great for Catching Counterfeit Boxes I Suppose…

Why on earth does this authentication process even exist if you can only authenticate the box it came in. Counterfeit boxes are not the problem. The problem is that people return their fake cables in real boxes, which then get resold. Why is there no printed serial number on the cable matching the one on the box? Or a QR code on a cord tag? Something?
  • Works as designed.

This app lets you scan the HDMI verification sticker to ensure you received a certified cable from a certified manufacturer.

If your cable did not come with a sticker to scan, then it’s not certified. It’s as simple as that.

This app is not supposed to provide more information than what you find on the box of the cable. That’s not what this is for.
  • Hdmi cable with no code!

How do I scan a cable to see if its certified if it doesnt have this code on the box?! There needs to be alternate options like typing in the said cables info to see if it is or not if it doesnt have the code.

Was trying to see if the Belkin Ultra High Speed Hdmi 2.1 cable was fully certified? The one from the Apple Store.
  • Cannot report

Reporting incident results in “unexpected error.”
  • Great app to have especially when trying to make sure you’re getting a genuine cable

Easy to use. Let’s you know that the sticker on the package is authentic. I’ve seen some reviews be confused as to the purpose of the app. The app is only for authentication it is not to provide more data than what’s available on the package.
  • Worked perfectly and easy to use

Dowloaded. Scanned my cables. Done. Easy.
  • Don’t download hacks

  • Works great

Properly authenticates a hdmi premium certified cable. Meaning they can handle all of hdmi 2.0b specs hdr, CEC, arc, 18gb bandwidth on up, higher audio bitrate, all hd surround codecs our such as Atmos, and more to come! You will def want this when buying a so called premium cable to verify that it is authentic and not a knock off, so whoever asked what this is for here you go!
  • Worthless App

What does this app do? I assumed it would at least give me some technical data on the speed of the cable, but it just shows my the same information that on the packaging that the QR code is on. What a waste of time and money for them to write this app.
