A couple things to change
If you are participating in the gift exchange, you are forced to see who everyone is buying for as you send each email. Not good. Also, once you create an event, you can’t go back and change info like date and cost. Not perfect, but good idea.Absolutedance

I used this app for secret Santa with my family. Although the app worked as promised and was easy to do, I found I was charged for an “in-app purchase”, which I was unaware of. The only thing I can think of is that I chose to text the messages instead of email, but was never notified that I would be charged to do so. The app was free and I never got a prompt that I was going to be charged so that’s why this is getting a 1 star from me. $4 to text Shady AFShow lessSkicmekdnskdm

Hi, thanks for taking the time to write a review. I just want to be VERY clear here - all purchases go through Apple’s standard process. There is no way to bypass it. You are shown a fullsceen message regarding unlocking the app and then are asked clearly to confirm your purchase If you haven’t used the IAP features (e.g. SMS sending) then please contact me for a refund. Tap the “there’s a problem” in the info screen of the app. Happy Holudays. AshApp does not unlock after paying
Paid to unlock this app but the app is not unlocking. I try re-installing the app and still not able to unlock even though I already paid. Sent message to app developer and have not heard back from them.RafaRod79
Bummer
The app forces you to spend $3.99 if you want to use SMS or if you have over 6 people in the group. THEN... the app does generate a text but it shows who each person has. So as the “admin” I see who everyone has including the person who has me.RER18
Messaging anonymity
Being the person using their phone you see all the messages. This doesn’t work when you’re meant to be included and it’s meant to be secret Santa. Is there a setting I can change?Simon Cvetkoski
Awesome APP!!!
We weren’t able to do our annual name draw this year at Thanksgiving due to not everyone in our family being able to be together so this made it so easy!!! Great idea! Thank you for this ingenious app!CherylEvans
Makes you see who got you before you send
I didn’t want to see who was buying for me through email it didn’t give you an option to not see the email so now I know who got me...which wasn’t the point of secret Santa 🙄ricanqueenb05
Great if you pay for it
This app is brilliant! The only reason I’ve down starred it is unless you unlock it you can only use email addresses which people are sometimes reluctant to hand over..... everything’s been thought of even down to blocking people from buying for each other. It’s quite a pricey £3.99 to use just once a year tho (we only do one secret Santa)Show lessLovewell

Not worth $4.32, a scam app!
Super disappointed with this app and the way it leads one to believe that not only does the app choose the Secret Santa selections, but messages them also! Why did I need to pay for this app to have ME message all the participants? Ridiculous, and spoiled my fun, as I wanted to be a secret participant also! I’d emailed the developer the day I got the free version, but no response...then thought I needed to buy the $3.99 version to be able to have the app message my peeps...should’ve gone with Elfster.Show lessstickmup
