Leave a Review Card Creator for MtG
Wonderful app, but lacking some much desired features
I’ve been using this app for a little while now, and I think it is amazing and quite useful for making themed cards to show to my friends.
Sidenote: it runs slowly sometimes, delayed responses and whatnot, but that only really happens after using the app for a long time.
However, I have come across a need for some features that I think would be beneficial to the users of this app:
- Make cards that transform into other cards, as this would be very useful for making more complex cards.
- Be able to add extra text to planeswalkers besides the ability text.
- Support for artifact tokens, since this would allow for some much-needed functional customizability.
- Adventure effects on cards, because it would be cool.
As for visual customization, I think these features would be quite nice:
- Full art lands
- Allow alternate card skins (as in, borderless, translucent text boxes, karlov manor magnifying glass, etc.)
Given its current features, I still consider it an amazing app for those who want to make MTG cards such as myself, but it could use some more options on how to make cards.Show lessNickName0-0
Honest opinion
Overall, I love the app I really do and the reason it’s getting a 4 instead of a 5 star review is because there’s some things that I think you could do better.
1. Have better system for selecting your photos
2. Better cropping options for your photos
3. Better border options for the hybrid cards (could provide picture examples if you’d like)
4. Options for full art and or full art borderless
5. In general better border options (again I could provide pictures of examples if you would like)
6. A more customizable menu integration for your saved folders.
7. And the options to make planes chase cards.
If all those things can be resolved I’ll give it a 5 star right out the gate because it’s almost there is it is because like I said, this is one of the better apps that I’ve seen, hands-down.Show lessDraziSkullShot
Impossible to find photo
Everything else is great, but unfortunately my photo album is in a completely different order than stored on my phone, and I cannot view all of my photos. Just this awful reel at the bottom of the camera. Please let me choose to search through existing photos, or use the camera, separately from each other. And please include a better way to search through my photos. Only being able to see 3 at a time in a library of thousands is impossible.Show lessalaljdhbdmskch
So Good!
This is my life! The only thing I want in this is to have the ability to play your cards online for those who are serious about making magic cards. It would be even more fun and you would be able to enjoy the cards you make to another level. Over all this is great but it would be just so much better if you could play your cards online.Show lesssweet breeds
Images are way to difficult to select
I really like the concept behind this app. Everything is super easy to use except the images. If it was just having to scroll through photos, I could just get a screen grab of the image I want to use and use it. But the photos are not showing up on chronological order which means I have to scroll through all of my photos (I have a lot) to find the image o want to use. That is just unworkable. It also looks like this app hasn’t been updated in 2 years so it’s not likely going to get fixed. I would definitely become a patron to unlock the extras, but not when the basic functionality is thus broken. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this app at this time.Show lessNWSavant
SO DIFFICULT FOR NO REASON 😡😡😡
If there is one word I could use to describe this app, it would be that it is garbage. It is so hard to use and why do I need to become a patron to change MY own card. amazing! Just some TINY stuff
This app is great, for everyone needing to know it’s awesome
People already said what’s so good about it so I’m just gonna talk about the minor problems. For the community filters I think you could add filtering cards by color some people said by type but that’s too much. It would be cool to have enchantment creatures or artifacts creatures too, and it would be cool to see the vintage designs for cards. You can keep the patron price but I think non patrons should be able to publish 2 cards or have to wait less to publish cards. I know coding is hard so you don’t have to put all of these in one update or even all of them you can just put a few or one. But my main thing I want to happen is limiting time to publish another card or being able to publish two cards. Those are top tier.

Great App, Could Be Better
I love the app! I just wish patrons could post more often, that we could comment on other people’s cards, and that we could choose from different formats for cards, like tokens with room for abilities and extended versions for other cards.BrendanTheMagnificent

Hi guys! Welcome back to another review. Now you know how I am doing a thing of review’s on Pokémon Card makers? Yeah. This app is amazing for it. You can share it to a community of people too! And yes I know it isn’t meant for Pokémon. But what else if it made for? And also, I did four stars (the highest review in this series yet!). I did four stars because there are so little ads. And when I say so little, I mean almost none at all. Now I know some people won’t agree with me. They might say there is a lot of ads… but for me it isn’t. It isn’t like the last review… but anyway! Great so far, one quick suggestion
Extremely modular and efficient app for card making I would never expect to find on the appstore, especially considering I’ve heard only two people are working on the app. This is actually my first review, to tell you how impressed I am. I do however, have one tiny thing I’d like to request of the developers of the app, and that is to be able to move your cards in the collection area. It would allow people to move their cards into new folders and reorganize them how they choose, something that would help I think a lot of people who just got a hold of the app in particular.
