This is a really fun app but it’s sort of outdated. Current MTG cards have a little bar between the oracle and flavor text and there’s none to be seen here. Also the glossary is missing some terms from the Guilds of Ravnica set like Mentor and Addendum.Inevitable Ham

Outstanding app, loving all of the new updates! Just wanted to ask if you could make an option to remove old published cards from the publish tab that you’ve made, and if you could add a feature to create a creature token that has text, like the ‘Fish’ and ‘Whale’ tokens made from ‘Reef Worm.’ Thanks so much!

This app has a lot going for it- I’ve used it for about a year now and have regularly enjoyed posting my fun or thematic cards to IFunny where I can share my passion of MTG with others. One of the best card creators ever!
I’ve been using this app for a while now and I love it! A really good way to make your own cards. I’ve been needing to update this review for a while now. I had an issue with uploading photos when trying to create cards. I figured out it had to do with the iPhone I was using. I had to make sure the photo I was using was completely uploaded into my photos. I did still have a few recommendations after all this time now.
I’d like to see is a better social aspect to it. It’d be nice to comment on people’s cards, view people’s profiles and seeing all their cards they’ve created. It’d also be nice to add keywords like “Landfall” or “Delve” in their appropriate font. Finally, I’d also like to see more patron options. Spending five dollars every three months just seems like too much for an app I only use every now and again. I really would like to support the creators though and something like a dollar a month would be more reasonable to someone like me.
P.S. I can’t figure out how to use legendary borders. Do I need to be a patron for that?Show lessKirby3364

Kirby, there's no "upload" in the app as it's not a website. The app can only communicate with your photo library, so if you want to include a photo or a picture in cards you make, you have to put them into you photos first. You can use Photos app on your Mac (then sync over iCloud) or just save them from various websites via a long tap in Safari. I'll improve card text editor when more pressing features are taken care of. Your opinion on how to support the app is much appreciated – I'll most certainly give it a thought. Single color legendary borders are available to everybody. You just have to make the card legendary with a switch in card type editor, which you can bring by simply tapping on card type.Excellent overall
I really enjoy the app, but I’d love to see an update in the future including the new card style for legendary permanents and the ability to create Saga cards. Other than that, I’ve got absolutely no complaints, it’s a very simple and easy to use app.Sagethearcher139
Good as it gets
I absolutely love this app and can’t find anything els like it. It’s easy to use and there’s no limit to how many I can create. The only problem I have is not being able to create double sided cards or 4 loyalty ability planeswalkers and let my imagination run wild. If that feature is added, I will have no problem giving this a 5 star rating, but for now I will make due with what I have been given.Show lessTK21 Riviera

Thank you for your review! Double sided cards are somewhat problametic, but they'll be there. Planeswalkers with 4 abilities, on the aother hand, will become available much sooner, so stay tuned!10/10
Maybe add some sort of leaderboard that shows the most liked cards? There are a lot of interesting cards that get buried down the list as time goes on. If would be nice to have a way to only see the best cards out there.Gvggcxxxvvxcvzfvvjx

I’ve always wanted an actual app to create my own custom MTG cards. Granted it’s missing a few things, but the developer has made leaps and bounds throughout the past few updates and I can honestly say that I highly anticipate the next update. I typically am not one to spend money on apps, but this one has my patronage. Hats off to Afjek.

Great app with a few flaws
Overall, great app. Intuitive interface, and very flexible. However, not having the ability to change rarity without becoming a patron is a major flaw. I understand having some features only available to patrons, but rarity is such a basic part of designing a set that not being able to change it can be frustrating. Still, app is well designed and community tab was a really fun idea. Keep up the good work and thanks for the app!Show lessScott_843
Text issues
Overall, the app is quite good. The inability to resize text causes a lot of problems when making more creative effects (basically anything properly worded that doesn’t use evergreen abilities), and you’ll basically never have room for flavor text. Simple, but not bad.LucariaKnight
